Hey. My protege, Death Banana, came up with this concept a while ago. Him and I collaborated on this map, much like every other map I've worked on. This is a game that takes place in a certain fellow's basement. UPDATE 1: Filter has been removed, post updated to seem, *Sigh*, less controversial, and another transport hornet was added. Wait until tomorrow (June First) for these map specific changes to be in effect. The Story: Yosef Frenzel recently broke out of prison. His first order of business? Trap YOU in the basement of his now-condemned basement to torture you. You've been in this hell hole for 24 years now, and you and your friends decided that you had enough. You plan a daring escape, but will you survive long enough to get to the evac helicopter brought by the Austrian police? Details: You must escape the basement. You may want to hide out in any of the rooms until Frenzel overlooks your position, or just make your daring escape. You have poor camouflage, which help to cover your position. The zombie plays the role of Frenzel. As Frenzel, you must kill all the escapees before they, well, escape. Fritzl can only be killed by assassination. As a human, you need to get to the Austrian Police Helicopters. The policeman is usually the first person to escape the house. They turn blue and are the only one allowed to pilot the helicopter. Frenzel is Invulnerable, has no shields, but gains 25% health vampirism. He has 90% damage given and speed. He has a shotgun and a sword. Humans have poor camouflage, one shield, regular speed and health, but no shield recharge. They carry a sword. The last man standing, as well as the first one out of the Apartments are the only ones able to pilot the hornets. Pictures: Comparisons: The Basement blueprint The Basement in game: Utility Room: Workshop with "hidden" door: Another view of the workshop. You can see the baby broiler: Living Area in hidden residence: Padded room: Bathroom with shower and toilet: Bedroom 1: Bedroom 2 picture wasn't taken House: I based the house loosly on the picture in the top-right corner. The ruined streets The helicopter: Now I know you're going to say that it is messy, but it is supposed to be. The house was condemned and ruined for over 39 years. It looks ok but I don't really like what its based on, to make a game around this story is a bit weird. The map itself looks ok though, I would personally remove the filter though they ruin maps for me.
This map doesn't seem to be a good idea. It feels like you are making light of a terrible event, even if it's unintentional. You should really think twice before making a map that's based off an event where someone was beaten and raped, because people are most likely going to get mad.
meh this is ok could use some last resort areas and why have a hornet when only three people can be on it I suggest that there should be some warthogs for escape vehicals and have a building or camp in the dunes or something cause that could be the rescue area where theres a turret and lots of supplies but make it hard to get to like add random objects in the darkness so if the people in the warthogs crash the zombies have time to catch up to them and hopefully infect some people. 3/5 because the inside of the house looks interesting..... kinda.
You have it backwards. It is your responsibility to try to minimize, if not eliminate, controversy. It is not up to us to attempt to ignore you or your map. Personally I feel this was in bad taste, and should be locked. However, as for the map itself, its basically fat kid. Nothing outstanding, but its not horrible either. Well, in terms of forging its not horrible.
The map looks interesting, but not enough for me to dl. I agree with Chedderboy, it is pretty much fatboy. I would say work on the interlocking and geomorging a bit and also get rid of the filter. 2.5/5
Not only does the creator show questionable taste in terms of the setting of the map, but he doesn't even make a good map. Another fat kid hiding map, with a rather disgusting twist. It is your responsiblity to avoid posting things based off of disturbing events. If you wish to indulge in such things with people who are okay with it, do so. Don't expect it to be greeted with enthusiasm by the general community, especially when the map isn't even very good.
