    Prepare for ultimate flaaaaavor

Duncan Hills was inspired by the two favorite one-sided Avalanche maps, Castlanche and Sahara of Snow. After much testing, many have come to realize that this map strays away from the stereotypical BTB map and combines Avalanche's gameplay with a style of its own. Duncan Hills brings out parts of Avalanche that are very underused while cancling out some parts being overused. Using the dark side of Avalanche, Duncan Hills uses an improved version the original Avalanche base (something I haven't seen before) opposite to the attackers custom made cliff-side base. The numerous paths have thier own unique advantages and disadvantages that will become apparent when strategizing with your team. The gameplay is special in it's own way (succesfully utulizing both infintry and vehicular combat) and a comepletely different experience than normal BTB. Duncan Hills has been viewed to some as one of the Avalanche Elites and if you believe this should reign along the side of the maps I previously mentioned, than I'm honored and thankful. Thanks to the many testers that have played and helped me improve the map. I'd also like to apologize for the delay, there was suppose to be a video for the map but the person making the video never contacted me. I hope you like the surprise color coding ;)

i like alot about this map, one suggestion after playing this map i noticed the structures where you spawn the ghosts, they could use some height, there kinda low. looking forward to a v.2!?

Forging on this map is beautiful. Great use of merging as well, a dl from me.

Try submitting this into Atlas if you didn't use a budget glitched canvas. I'd love to play this instead of default avalanche.

This is such a fun map, just how you built the entire map and blocked off parts looks amazing. I remember testing this once and it played great that ramp leading up to defenders base is great. I really wouldnt be surprised if this got featured!

This map is actually insanely good. I remember reading your preview and really looking forward to the release, but I eventually forgot about it, so thank you so much for finally posting it! I just DL'd and I now can say how good it really is. The way you incorporated only half of the map creates much better flow and balance than the real Avalanche. The size is perfect now with all the vehicles you placed into the map, too. Finally, the structures you created are incredible. They all fit the map extremely well especially the sniper tower which is breathtaking. I really love your designs Urban and the way you execute these designs really display how good of a forger you are. Congratulations on another excellent map, and I continue to look forward to more of your masterpieces every week!

I loved this map, the testers loved this map, and everyone loves this map. Urban I'm happy to see that you finally posted this. Your a great forger and will never dissapoint. All the testers said that it's better than (The name escapes me.) Anyway this is a fun map to play around on and gameplay is great. Deserves more attention that it will get. No matter how much.

looks amazing broski. what i like about this map the most is how you managed to mix up the gameplay as much as you did. in terms of objects, each one has a sizeable effect on gameplay and the overall flow of the map. very nice. dl fo sho

I think when you say that this map is set apart from normal BTB, you aren't lying. Only using half a map will keep fast paced action for 9v9, but the style of the map will limit spawn killing and rape. The structures are intense, i can see you definitely put some time into them. I love the idea of expanding the main base, that is almost never done. Your work on this map is simply amazing. 5/5.

I remember testing a very early edition of this map a while ago, even with 4v4 it was an absolute blast. Congrats man. You never disappoint.

Nice layout looks clean, even the way you blocked off the middle looks good.I will download! Im just glad to see people forging on Avalanche because i think that we still havent seen its true potential for competitive maps. I mean besides Castlelanche and this map i honestly havent seen that many great maps on Ava that utilize the outside areas. Most Ava maps are usually forged in the cave, thats nice but i would like to see more maps like this that utilize the outside areas. Thanks for thinking outside the box and giving Ava a chance, because honestly theres just too many Sandbox maps to sort through... =P

Dude, sweet. The customized base looks fantastic, and you even added aesthetics to the giant wall. Fantastic job.

I can see you being a premium any day now...

Attention: I'm set on submitting Duncan Hills to atlas as my second map. I'm asking for your support here at forgehub and I will post the map as soon as I get the 3 gameplay videos. This, however may take a while since I don't have a working Xbox at the moment so don't expect this to be too soon. I did submit my map to be tested in the "Test Pilot" group but at this rate I'm not sure if they're going to be very reliable, hopefully I will get the videos I need. There won't be any changes to the map but I may have to change the name of the map due to atlas requirements, but I'm unsure about it.

Anyway, Im curious to know what the community wants, would you like to play Duncan Hills for One-Flag? One-Bomb? Team Slayer? Snipers? FFA (not recomended)? I also hope to get some as much support as possible so if you would like to see Duncan Hills in matchmaking, be on the look out in the atlas forums. Thanks for the support here at Forgehub, I really apriciate it.
