No lists. Pick one mechanic and explain why. My vote? Sword Block. Blocking a Sword. With your fist. A melee weapon designed to kill you only in close range Being countered by a melee in close range.
I don't know if this one counts but... Aiming in Halo 5. After all these months it still feels weird. Gitgudyeahiknow
The create a class mechanic is the real culprit. The boltshot would've been a really cool mauler-like power weapon if we COULDN'T ****ING SPAWN WITH IT
That on top of sprinting faster than half the vehicles to board them, spawning with stickes, auto aim DMR cross mapping, etc
Let's dispel the notion that Bungie didn't know what they were thinking. They knew exactly what they were thinking.
Making powerups and activated pickup with a delay to activation that is long enough to be killed by just about anyone without being able to fight back.
Sword Block, Armour Lock, or Random Ordnance all tie for me. Removing damage bleedthrough on melees was also really dumb.
This one might be a little obscure, but the lack of priority pickup has always bothered me. Cant tell you how many games Ive lost picking up an assault rifle instead of the flag or bomb...
Assassination animation... Completely stupid mechanic. It slows you down in combat and makes you the next easy target. They just made it so the kids have got something 'epic' to look at.
Hey, I love the assassinations. It's a way of rubbing it in your opponent's face by going, "hey, I'm behind you dumb***." At least in Halo 5 you can turn them off. Or just tap the button instead of holding it.
