Duck Hunt

    Duck Hunt has been one of my favorite custom game types for a long time and since we have a new forge to work with, Corps98 and I (I BOOTS I) have started making a newer Duck Hunt to play on. We made this for our group of friends to play on and it is 99% done right now. We just need to make a few adjustments and clean up some areas so that it looks perfect. As of right now, there are three loadouts to pick from. Everyone only gets a pistol (except for the "zombie"), and they can pick between "Sprint", "Evade", and "Hologram" for their armor ability.

    If people like it, I'll put up the link to download it when it's 100% in the next day or so. Check out the pictures below and if you have any ideas on how to improve it, I would love to hear them. Just let me know please?

    Does anyone have any ideas? I would like to know how to make this better so that it can be as good as possible. Please share your thoughts if you have any.

    One word. NICE.

    I've been looking for the perfect Duck hunt game, but all the ones ive seen so far barely resemble the map i love in Halo 3, but this one is perfect.

    Hopefully you release this soon cus i will definetly download and recommend this map!

    Joining my little brother on his various Infection games, Duck Hunt was the only one that I really liked. And although it was really fun to play on, the original Duck Hunt was really badly forged. But this looks really nice for a Duck Hunt map. In fact, this is actually the first Duck Hunt map that actaully appeals to me in Reach. Please put up the link soon.

    Never was much of a fan of the game, but there's a couple things where I believe there could be some improvements, both relitively minor.

    I would reconsider the evade armor ability. In the screenshot where the SPARTAN is shown using it, the character is clearing about half the distance a half of the way through the ability. Since it's so instantaneous, and cover is densely placed throughout the map, it seems overpowered. And, it addition to that, the fact that it is near instantaneous, gives the sniper a low chance of killing the target, unless they're relatively experienced.

    The other adjustment that I would advise pertains to the sniper platform. It seems pretty bland. I would suggest adding more around it, to make it more intimidating to the "ducks". I believe that a large portion of creating a mini-game relies on the design and layout. Given that the other players are running for their life from the enemy in the sniper perch, it would behoove you to make it a larger, more threatening platform.
