in the objective labels for objects there is options that are doubles enable (or something along those lines), I was wondering if anyone has experimented with them and if they work. Thanks.
To OP: The game mode labels are a great way to decide which gamemodes an object does or does not spawn in. "Slayer: Doubles Include" for example will spawn the item only in a 'Doubles' form of slayer. When using game mode labels, only use either 'Include' or 'Exclude' labels. Why? In my experience, let's say we have an object, and I give it the "Slayer:Include" label. This labels all other non specified parameters as "exclude." So it will spawn in all slayer modes, but not CTF or Strongholds, even if you didn't use 'exclude' tags. Same works vice versa. Set an object to 'Slayer:Exclude" and with no other parameters, the game will assume the opposite, or 'include' for all other scenarios. I am going to do a dedicated test to see how it functions, but this is my experience with it. I might be wrong but this is the best I got. I hope this helps some!
Thank you. To clearity, I know how the labels work. I was only curious to if this function actually works. My time has been fairly limited so I didn't want to plan everything out or even go and build it and have it be something that doesn't work properly yet.
The label function does work according to my tests. My newest map has separate respawn points for slayer/strongholds and CTF/Assault which work very well according to the labels I selected. I can't speak for all scenarios, but in my experience they do work.
Unfortunately, there is no default Slayer Doubles mode that the label will work with. When playing Doubles, you would typically just play Team Slayer with modified settings. This mode will not read those labels. You'll need to wait on an actual Doubles mode to be released to take advantage of these labels.
Awesome. Thank you. This could be really useful for making your maps more versatile. Edit: Oh damn. I was almost assuming that originally. Thanks Duck. I'll still maybe set it up for future use.
