Creators: rifte gifle, Seaboro Kibbles Recommended players: 16 This is a quick and fun minigame made by myself and Seaboro Kibbles. Recommended for 16 players for a super hectic crazy game, the objective is to score points by getting to the checkpoint at the bottom of the rainbow hallway while trying to stop others from getting there by use of your trusty sword and sniper. Players will find themselves reaching speeds of 300+km/h and doing crazy spins as they struggle to reach the goal. Pretty simple huh? Gameplay VideoYouTube - Double Rainbow All the Way! By rifte gifle & Seaboro Kibbles The playing field. What does it mean? It's so bright, so vivid. And they're off! All the way across the map! So intense! When you see it... Red mongoose going over 320+green stuck mongoose... you do the math. You're doing it wrong!
This looks like an extremely awesome mini game map.. Now if I only had more than one friend to play with.. I'll download regardless because I might run into some people wanting to play =) Good job man!
THIS IS THE BEST MINI GAME EVAR! I played it, I loved it, I wanted MOAR! Download and play with EVERYONE ON YOUR FRIENDS LIST. Also loving the rainbow aesthetic touch, don't think it was there when I played it with you.
Hey i love this map , but i thought to make it better , the gametype could eb abit better? Why dont you make the weapons random when you spawn? because not everyone is good with a sniper so you could spawn with rockets >
THATS A WHOLE RAINBOW NOW! The post is so intense... so vivid... Seriously guys so amazing, go play it all the way to forever. Thanks for the credit, though you did much more than I did if I remember correctly I'm going to play around with the gametype and see if a scoring system could be set up, though I doubt it. edit: I've got a system thats working! I'll send it to you when I'm done.
Lol I remember Double Rainbow Man. I just played this map with a few other guys, and I must say, this is one crazy map - but crazy in a good way. The whole time people were just flying down this one narrow room, bouncing off the walls with sniper bullets flying everywhere. It was insane. I'm tempted to say this is my favorite minigame in Reach so far. Bravo on yet another incredible map, Rifte. You are a map-making machine!
If you don't have many friends that play Reach you should send me a friends request as I usually play Reach every day but also struggle to get friends to online.
Hah! the video made me laugh. It's a pity you can't have the double rainbow song while you're playing it. You should have the ramp a tiny bit wider in my opinion though, it gets too cramped in big games. I think the main downloads for this map are going to be from the theme though, not the playbility unfortunately.
this looks like such a fun mini game the game in its self is great but adding the theme of double rainbow=perfection
I don't know about anyone else but its really the opposite for me, it was crazy fun, now it's crazy fun with a silly name. 1 - download double rainbow song 2 - download zune software 3 - sync zune with xbox 4 - play double rainbow on your xbox while playing this game 5 - ??? 6 - profit!
This really is a fun game with larger parties. So much random chaos happening, you don't even know where to look. The great thing was, at one point in the game my partner and I decided to just try and get large amounts of rotations instead of kills, although there was sniper spam to be found. 28 was the highest we got and had fun doing so. Playing with a small party on the other hand, isn't so much fun.
Lol's I've had 56 rotations and an overkill on double rainbow It's been overplayed in my parties though, it's kinda of got a little bit annoying as the scoring system sucks. At one point, the team in last went through the goal once and got put into first. They picked up 25 points for hitting one checkpoint!?!?! Also, me and a team mate went through the checkpoint about 15-20 times in a row and didn't score once... I think the gametype needs fixing...
Play the new version, it fixes that. You still don't get as many points as you should, but people don't bounce from 5 to 30 instantly and you know who's really winning because everyone is neck and neck all the time.
Do you guys actually count how many rotations there are? Sometimes I spin so fast you'd need to go into theater and slow it down! Also, during one of those spin outs I sniped a guy randomly, it's a good feeling My driver was like 'wft? i got a wheelman you kidding me?'
Well I saw this kind of map (a gigantastic ramp with teleporters) at the Most Downloaded maps in Halo:Reach. But it's pretty cool you made it for an actual objective, because in the other you just kept going to the ramp until you exploded, I like it.
