Made by Rest in Pieces Story/Description: When i released block fort, double deck was suggested for me to make as well, but i just didn't think it had potential for halo. However, i had 2nd thoughts so i figured i'd go for it. This is a remake from one of the awesome mario kart 64 battle maps. Though in halo, it will be defined as a 4-way inverse symmetrical map. New Features: -Teleporters in the corners going from top to bottom (2 way) to provide better movement -[my favorite] 4 construct-style lifts From the base level to top, and from very bottom to top. This took me a while to perfect them, but they are beautifully made. Also for movement -At the each of the overlapping slopes (you may be thinking "?") there are additional ramps above it to keep the overlapping slopes well distant from each other, to block the LOS all the way down, and to have more height variation. -Added little pieces of cover for saver spawning and cover Weapons Set: 8 DMRs (bottom, at surface by teleporters) 2 Needle Rifles (bottom, opposite of blue/red) 2 Snipers (bottom of blue/red spawn) 4 plasma nades (2 by the needle rifles 2 armor locks i can't remember Screenshot Time: Layout of the original double deck, which resembles mine as well Note: the dots represent the lifts (lighter=lower, Darkest=top of lift) Overview upper outside hall lower outside hall Download Doubledeck Progress for MK64 battle maps: Block fort - Done Double Deck - done Skyscraper - haven't started; waiting for ideas to pop up Big Donut - Forged; not releasing until a good warmup gametype idea comes to me
yay omg! it was my suggestion! Great job in making it - looks awesome jetpacks might play well with all those holes to fall down
yea skyscaper is becoming a possibility, but i gotta decide the sizes of the gaps along with the entire map. the gaps probably won't be jumpable, except by a jetpack. Also, it will need tons of extra cover if it is gonna be able to support halo gametypes
