Hey everyone, I remember back in Reach there wer maps that I think were community made released in the monthly title updates. Please correct me if the maps weren't made by fans. Im thinking about really going all out on a forge map for BTB and if there was a way to get 343 to notice it if they start releasing community maps.
While 343 said there wouldn't be any forged maps in MM at launch, it's likely that they'll add in some forge variants at some point in the future. However, seeing as the game just came out, I'd say it's going to be at least a few months before that happens.
bow down to a cartographer I think it is really about getting a decent map out there that is up to matchmaking standards. The people who make the decision don't test every map but instead the ones that seem credible based on the communities opinions, so I imagine your best bet would be to make the map know through constant testing and posting it around. That is easier said than done though, hahaha.
