Ack I can never survive for longer then the first barrel, for once some one gets hit he ends up pushing everyone else out of the map with him >.<
This looks sort of like the Hurricane map but instead of a million things coming at you it is just simply one barrel. This reminds me of a game show I saw where people had to keep jumping over a pipe as it swung around until they got tired or fell off.. Great job!

It has a great concept, outstanding forging, and... terrible gameplay. This is mostly because you can't see the barrel (which should be a soccer ball) and it doesn't stay on the ground so its basically impossible. The soccer ball would be forced down to the ground by shield doors. I also suggest that the inside wall should've been made out of fence boxes for higher visibility.
I've anwsered some of these concerns so I will do it again. A soccer ball is too big for the hall and makes it impossible to dodge. You can guarantee yourself seeing the barrel for a second or two. It all depends on your positioning and It sounds like you need to work on it . I have games that usually last a minute or so. It isn't hard to dodge and to predict where it is going to go. You can't play this once or twice and judge it. You have to play it many times to get good at it and then you can judge it.
Sorry I didn't see you talk about the soccer ball, but I still think using fence boxes/ walls would work much better and make this a more playable game. At least use a small barrel if you haven't already (I wasn't sure which one it was).
hey j i really haven't actually really played this, just 3 rounds with you and me. but from what i played, it is fun. warfang, fence walls really would not help you dodge it, since it has to in front of you to know where to dodge. they would only let you know where the barrel is on the circle, whoich really isn't a problem, you can see it early enough. plus there is the fact that you can pretty much know where it is by the time it last came arond and the sound.
This looks brilliant! It's original, fun and well made. The interlocking is great. I will have lots of fun on this map, good job!
Love playing this with my friends when were bored We even see who can do the most laps around the circle(jumping over the teleporters aren't as hard as you think) 5/5 Love it (Good job)
Yeah I would have to agree, this map is not as fun as one might think. I also like the idea of the soccer ball with the shield doors for improvements. There is also another problem which is you automatically has a disadvantage the closer to the teleports you spawn. I have been hit by several other players who get hit by the barrel.
I dont think you guys quite understand what I was going for: *Using a soccer ball would be too wide for the ring and you can't make the ring much bigger. *If I use the soccer ball and you continue to jump, you will always dodge it as it won't flail around like the barrel does and it won't be able to go up if the shield doors keep it to the ground. *There is a way to tell when the barrel is coming and you can time it. Its not that hard. EDIT: Also, the forging isn't that great. It didn't take long to make at all, which is the same for a lot of mini games once you have the idea.
I have been wondering... Would spawning close to the teleporters give a disadvantage? Players near the front may have a chance to save themselves that other don't, also, is there still the possibility of assassinations?
Well of course you can assasinate. That's a smart stategy. I thought I put that in the thread but apparanly not. It doesn't really matter where you are. You can still see the barrel coming even if your behind the teleporter. if you are in front of it, take a chance and jump over them so that you won't die as fast if you get hit. Theres many things you can do.
