How do we know that aliens believe in god? Maybe they don't.. Maybe some of them are far more along with evolution and technology, and that they would look at our futile, puny society and laugh in alien tongue.

Well yea thats why. But what I was getting at was that someone brought up a little while ago in this thread that God put all animals on the earth for a reason and that they are for humans. If that was true, birds like penguins have no reason to exist since they arent exactly living in places that humans do, or are used by humans. They serve no purpose really. Just sort of proves that off a little was what I was getting at. And stop going both sides of the argument! lol... You basically just argued for evolution there...
He can argue for whatever he likes; he hasn't made any contradictions anyway. Evolution only disproves creation, not religion as a whole.
So I was raised without any influence at all. My parents never took me to church, or spoke a word about religion to me as a child. Both of my parents are Lutheran themselves, but they wanted me to decide for myself when I was older what I wanted to believe. Well that day came long ago. Basically two people came up to me. One believed in Evolution. The other was a creationist. I pointed to the creationist. "What proof do you have?" He just looks at me and tossed the bible in my face. "This." "What proof does it hold?" "It is the proof." "So because there is a book that says it, it's true?" "Yes." "Ok." I turn to the evolution guy. "What's your proof?" He pulls out some book by a guy named Darwin. "Is that the proof?" "No. This book is not proof. Fossils, scientific reasoning, and proven experiments are the proof. This book just talks about it." I turn to the creationist. "Does your book hold that?" "It holds stories. It holds morals. It holds lessons." "Are morals and lessons facts?" "No." I turn back to the evolution guy. "Are fossils facts?" "Yes." "Ok."
Lol agreed your forgot the part where experiments can be redone many times to prove that it is true ,where as in the bible you cant recreate turning water into wine,curing a blindmans sight ,and turning a river to blood.
