    I have had the privilege to play on this map a few times! I got to see it go through a few changes and the author has been dedicated to bring an amazing BTB map into Halo 5! The theme of the map really gives you that Timberland Halo feel, but better! The vehicle balance is fun, the team bases are very creative and the area feels exciting to explore. I should probably just leave a review, lol.

    From the screen I just want to say you really need to put a metal texture to 10. It could really reinforce the melting of the structure with the environment.

    (I made a lot of tests, with Secclusion or Viking for example, by changing these property and give to the strutures a real metal shader, and it's clearly better)

    It looks really great anyway !

    Yeah, this does have more of that Bungie feel when it comes to old school BTB, which is very welcome!

    I really enjoyed our playlets on here but the map is over scaled. I would suggest reducing its size by about 40%. I know this is no simple task either and would require reforging many areas from scratch. The layout is solid so I don't think you need any changes but I'd like to test this map again when its size is reduced to ensure this. Infantry is not provided any incentive to run in the middle pathways of the map. The only reason they are moving there is because they spawn there. I would suggest moving the snipers off of the high ledges of each platform and placing them in more contestable locations. This way you don't just stay in the same location once you pick up a weapon, further encouraging movement on the map. I liked all of the vehicles but it seemed a bit overwhelming because there wasn't enough engagement with infantry. I would suggest rescaling the map and reducing the amount of vehicles so that there are still some ground level players to engage with. Let me know when you've reduced the size because I think this layout has some potential.

    Hi Warholic, thanks for the review and the feedback. I just wanted to confirm if you had played the map after the HaloCustoms Lobby on July 25th. I had done a lot of rework to the map and reduced the scale by a fair amount. I also added infantry paths to the center hill which has shown a large improvement in vehicle and infantry engagement.

    Great to hear that you reduced the scale of the map but looking at the video its hard to notice any difference. The map requires a significant decrease in scale. Again, this is no easy task but I hope you take the time to really investigate how to do it! The last time I played it was on July 25th. I hope to test it out again sometime. The infantry paths in the middle are a great idea, changes like that can go a long way. The more vehicles you have on the map, the less infantry there is. I would try to focus on infantry engagements a little more as your video still shows the 2 wasps, 2 tanks, warthogs, ghosts, etc.

    Thanks for the prompt response. While the changes might not be immediately noticeable in the video I guarantee you that the map has had lots of rework done and you will surely notice them in your next play through. The video highlights vehicular gameplay as that is what I am trying to promote with my map. That is what I feel the BTB playlist has been all about since the beginning.

    May I request that you re-evaluate your review of the map once you play my finished product rather than my 'beta' version? I would rather you provide me with a review of how the map feels rather than looks. May I also hear the reasoning behind having to scale down my map once more? I am confident my map is comparable in size to Viking and much smaller than Altar.

    I have had great feedback from the community on my map and it plays very differently from the previous version. I cannot stress that enough. I hope you take the time to play it once more and re-evaluate your feedback. Thanks again for checking out my map and taking the time to provide your feedback, it means a lot to me. My apologies if the tone of my comment comes across as rude, that is not my intention. I just want my map to have a fair chance if reviewed by such an experienced Forger. I look forward to hearing your second thoughts.

    I've had this in my lobbies for quite some time. The map was scaled down a lot and two structures were removed. Pretty solid! It's a different map really, not sure on the confusion, but give Dispelled another go! I too am curious to see your thoughts on the updated version. I've kinda fanboyed this map, so this conversation has intrigued me!

    I took a walk around your map today and think you did a pretty good job at rescaling the map. I think the sightlines are still pretty long and it could be shrunk in a bit but am excited to play this again.

    Congrats Man! All the changing to the map, redesigns, scaling, weapon pads, play tests, etc. totally worth it to be shined on in this great feature! I really see a desire for more vehicle maps in the BTB playlist, I'd love to see this in there!

    This map looks like absolute trash - the kind of trash I would keep laying around in my room very close to me and not ever want to get rid of.

    I just recently had the pleasure of playing a BTB slayer match on this map. I havent seen the older variants, but i can say that now it is a great map to see load up in the MM lobby. This is one of the very very few maps i would actually recommend to other people. Great work.
