Re: Discussion for Heroic Map Paotck Observations when i got xbox live i said that there was no way that i would every buy anything. well i lied to myself. i love the map pack it was well worth it. Rats nest: not a great forge map. but it has its ups. pros: -it has a pelican -it is equal for both teams -it is good for vehical and non vehical game types cons: -forge is limited -easy to forget where you are Standoff: decent forge options. pros: -not overly large -good with most, if not all gametypes -a lot of room to move around for it's size (well planned) cons: -weopon placement on map Foundry: best forge mao ever!!!!, i have yet to go a day without working on another completly different style map pros: -forge -forge -forge need i say more cons: -havent found one yet if you couldnt already tell foundry is my favorite map. i cant describe how great it is. i mean who doesnt want to make everything from anything to anything. if you dont have the maps get them. i promise you wont be dissappointed.
Anyone notice that the theater mode floating camera can't pass through shield doors? What's up with that?
Foundry is a great forge map. I like the freedom, but the roof is too low. Bungie needs to make a map that is huge and empty, even lacking a floor. Then, I could make floating bases that were held up by a single object. When the bomb on assault exploded, the whole base would fall apart.
Yeah when I get Double Boxes up high, even Open Double Boxes up there, players walk on them but can't jump worth ****.
Yeah, I hate how the bottom of the walls are angled. I also hate how the roof comes down likde 10 feet lower as you go towards the bases.
It's seriously like "Hey Bungie, give us a completely cubic room that's slightly larger instead of wasting all this memory on outside textures and rounded walls and ridges and claws and little slits and extra halls and pipes and let us have more objects placed in place of that memory that would have been used." Sorry about that.
