kay, I know you make objects appear at certain times in a game, but is there any way to make an object disappear. Like something is blocking a door, but at the the 3 minute mark it goes away? Or something sits ontop of a teleporter but it goes away at certain time limit too. I'm just wondering because I want to make an Infection gametype, bu would like to have doors thatonly open when it gets to like 3 minutes or something.
Off the top of my head, I can only think of it being possible in Invasion using it as an object tied to a game stage. Only other way I can think of is the Halo 3 method of using a grav lift or mancannon to push a moveable object out of the way.
To have a door spawn mid game you could have a small hole in the wall big enough for some crates. Midgame a grav lift pushes the door into the hole creating a passage.
What about if you used a door that you could open and then closed after? I found this in the threads and it would seem to serve you well. It would be fantastic if on your game you had to open the door while fighting off infection. You could adapt this door into your map, hopefully that helps. If not good luck with your map.
