Anyone have any idea on a good way to make a vehicle stationary with the Ability to drive vehicles on? Im making a survival/puzzle map and i want to make the start point look like a falcon crash, i cant find a way to blow up the Falcon, so im trying to get the falcon to clip into something and make it unflyable. I still want vehicles to be drivable though, as i have ideas for the use of mongooses and stuff. (The map im trying to make is going to be a single player invasion style map, where a human invasion on a covenant command center goes horribly wrong, and as a lone survivor, you must shut it down urself, by completing a series of puzzles all over the map, and climatically capturing the core, and having to navigate puzzles while escorting the core as you go) also i just noticed i spelled scenery wrong, dont hurt me
If there are no jetpacks in the gametype, couldn't you elevate the falcon onto something to get it off the ground? Like some blocks or something, or natural incline?
I think your best bet would be to surround the Falcon with rocks in such a way that it can't be flown out. An arch blocking a wing, etc. There might be a way to phase rocks into the falcon...
I actually like that elevation idea, doesnt sound too bad but yea ive tried all kinds of clipping such as placing a rock on the same spot as the Falcon, having it not spawn at start, and respawn 1s later, with intentions of blowing up the falcon, but the falcon just freaks out and twitches inside the rock and i could try to add an avalanche type of effect and hopefully render it unflyable
Could you set fusion coils to fall on and detonate on the Falcon at the beginning of the round? With enough explosives, anything is possible!
nope, i coulda swore i could set them to phased and fixed at one point, but i cant with a falcon, i tried alot of stuff, came here for some new ideas =p and im getting some
You could hide a kill ball that is just barely touching the falcon. Put the initial spawn on the falcon and make the player invincible off of the spawn for 5 seconds. This could make a really cool crash simulation. The player spawns and he is thrown "out of" a crashing falcon.
spawn a wall put the falcn 0n it and put the spawn p0ints 0n it then delete the wall, the falcn will fall and break and u will fall with it
