The title already says it. With these many sound options included in Forge I freaking don't want to have an obnoxious space noise or anything like it on our canvases! When building up a believable environment sound design is one of the primary things to consider, even though most people don't bother it too much. I thought, Tidal would finally be the perfect canvas, but nooo, freaking wale sounds one hungred meters above the ground, are you kidding me?! I won't start to make my puzzle map until I can disable those background noises on any canvas. I've got so many good ideas, but it doesn't matter, since they are not immersive, if a whale screams in a temple high up in the mountains!! A simple function with an 'if-else loop' in the code could easily solve the problem. I actually designed my H2A map Archaeology around the edge of the background noise on Awash. The immersion was unreal... falling into a cave, while the background noise disappears at the same moment and comes back, once you find your way back to the outside of the dungeon. Still to this date I am the only one, who ever designed a map like that. Now in Halo 5 this problem is still not solved, which is kind of disappointing. /rant over
I feel your pain. Get on Halo Maybe I'll forge a map. Lets try Tidal haven't been on it yet. Loads tidal Nope, Im not making a map in a whale wildlife preservation
When I loaded up Tidal and heard the sound of that whale getting pierced with a spear, I thought "Ah, that's definitely toggleable"... A few seconds later, I leaned back in my chair with a grin thinking nothing but "Typical 343".
I agree, Alpine's background sound is the most comfortable one out of all of them, however the canvas is too small.
