I have never before tried anything like this, I haven't even really ever done any paper and pencil drawing, and I have never done any landscape style drawing/painting without a clear reference image. This is my first try at doing this, but I think all in all it is coming along well, just felt like posting for some quick CnC to start with, gonna move to adding more detail soon, but just seeing what people think so far.

I suck at making landscapes in photoshop. This is better than anything I could do, my biggest qualms are in the bright green on the mountains, the strange smokey effect in front of the castle, and the curve in the castle wall (on the left). Though these are pretty minor. Are you going to to make everything look like the guy? If so, good luck and props for taking on such an ambitious project. I don't have the patience, unless I had a tablet or something.

This is the first time I've tried doing digital painting like this, and oh god is it addictive. I've been working on this one for like 6 hours straight... I updated the post with further progress... I'm slow at doing it, but seeing it come together is so addictive lol, prob gonna start doing stuff on the castle thing now that I've been doing the mountains for hours
