!DeViAtIoN? By Mister Hat GT: Mister Hat ae Deviation a medium map fit for large parties (8-14) supporting slayer and team slayer. Deviation was partly inspired by Reflex. The map consist of close quarters and long alley ways. It was made so a player could go to any part of the map through different pathways of the map, taking away the ability from a player to camp. There also is no spawn killing because i have used all of the spawn points so you could re-spawn with out being near the enemy. The maps main features are: Sniper's Ridge, The Slanted Slit, the Battle Rifle Box, The Mongoose Garage, The Arch, The Balance Beam. All these will be explained with a description over the picture. Hey looks pretty good, but if you make a V2, you should add more structures, or weapons because there is alot of space in some spots, and not alot of cover but still looks good
I have made a lot of cover in the map and a lot of cover ,but more structures would ruin the feel i was trying to achieve.
Well change respawn time for the Sniper to, like, 150 secs, As its considered a power weapon. And its true. But the map does have some nice Interlocking........Is there any Geo-Merging? I can't see any from the pics. 4.5/5
You have two of the same picture. It looks amazing though. How long did it take you to make this? You obviously took a lot of time into it. 5/5. I like that doorway with the custom power up on top the best.
There is a movable object interlocked and other unmovable objects an the sniper is'nt that powerful because nthings up high that much. It took long time
I told you to tell me when you were posting this >:-( I wanted the first comment! Your a big fat meanie... The map is great... wonderful interlocking and geoglitching with movable objects. The sniper and mauler have perfect placement but I don't see the point of the shotgun. It is basically a bully to the mauler who is minding its buisness... I also love how you didn't block off the back rooms. Instead you made a dezign with the window panels and barriers that I really liked. I thought that was very creative of you. That extra space of foundry that most maps don't use really adds to the gameplay a lot. The structures you have created with your interlocking are very neat too. Those are the positives... For constructive critasism, delete either the mauler or the shotgun. If you delete the mauler, move the shotgun to the other side of the map. I also don't know why you put 4 mongees on the map. Only 2 were needed specially because therre are 2 groups of 2 mongees located farly close to eachother. Well those are the few minor adjustmants I just told you to make. The positives are more than the negatives. I give the map a 4/5 but it could be a 5/5 if you make those adjustmants. This is a very nice map but next time... TELL ME WHEN YOUR POSTING YOUR MAPS! EDIT: Found out you didn't use the budget glitch! Very impressive sure!
so this is that map you showed me. i guess you used my arch idea, but im honestly surprised, its much better then i expected it to be, the structures are neat and well thought out, and it compliments the gameplay, looks like a well thought out map, but like GD said, there should never be a mauler and a shotgun on the same map, excluding guardian
The shotgun is on one side and the mauler is on the whole other side. I DIDN'T USE YOUR IDEA I DIDN'T!
Pretty cool, I think you were starting this one when you showed me earlier this week. Very nice job, but Deviation the name is already taken by the Snak3........oh well! I'll have to play this with you some time
