Deja Vu

    Hello Forge Hub!

    Introducing to you Deja Vu.

    A competitive 4v4 map that was inspired (Notice that word inspired, that means its not a remake) by the legendary Halo 3 map 'The Pit'.
    I didn't go for a remake because people tend to get iffy on small details then and to get every detail right you usually end up with alot of merging that causes lag.

    I'll be adding objective gametypes for this map once i get the spawns for objective to work.
    Right now the map uses the same spawn system as Halo 3 Pit used, if one team over runs the enemies base, they will switch sides.
    I did however, label each side with a red and a blue side to keep it simple.
    Amount of grenades has also been reduced because they are alot more powerfull in Reach.

    Weapons list:
    8x DMR
    2x Needle rifle
    2x Needler
    2x Sniper rifle (classic location)
    2x Nade launcher (replaces the shotgun because they would be to overpowering in Reach)
    2x Plasma repeater
    2x Assault rifle
    1x Rocket launcher
    1x Sword

    1x over shield
    1x active camo
    1x 2 stickies
    14 grenades (6 on each side, 2 in the middle)
    2x med packs on the bases
    1x med pack in the middle

    your map looks pretty nice, a definite team slayer map or rumble pit. i do like it i think the forging could be improved especially in the hallway with tin cups and rocks. but other than that looks good. just wondering too, how much budget did you have left?

    I agree, the rocket area doesn't aesthetically match with the rest of the map. you could've maybe changed it to where the floor level of the rocket area is lower than the rest of the map and make small ramps leading to the rest of the map.

    The map overall seems pretty nice with good aesthetics, but I do think that it is a little too bland. Maybe adding your own aesthetic style of forging to this would be a benefit toward the map.

    I think it is cool how you took the pit and put your own twist to it. I do understand that this isn't a remake, but merely a map inspired by the pit.

    Pretty nice map. 7/10

    I figured that the rock garden thingy would have been a gamble and its definitely not the best i could do :p
    I'll change that in V2, i got plenty (well plenty) of budget left to do something good with that hall way.
