Danger Canyon/The Death Pit

    Danger Canyon

    I'm proud of this map. I think it deserves five stars. There's no bumpy floors, there's no idea trying to get out - or you will be punished with the respawn counter - , and... Well everything is perfect. I spent 30 hours making this map, and I had to start all over again three times because the game ended suddenly and I couldn't continue.

    Description: There's a big canyon dividing the two bases, and in the middle is a small cabin with a shotgun inside. Next to the cabin is a tent containing spikers'n'plasma nades. The bases are roomier than you think, they are three stories high. there's two ways to get to the enemy base - ether you take the bridge hanging over the abyss, or you go downstairs and walk over the bottom of the canyon. There's a window in each base to overlook it all. that makes moving over the canyon floor dangerous, since there are covenant carbines by the windows. 150 seconds into the game there spawns a sniper on the top of each base that holds 4 bullets.
    Tips: If any one is camping in the cabin, you can throw a grenade through the small holes on each side of it. Also, If any one is making a run for the Rocket Launcher, you can shoot the fusion coil next to the barrier to kill him easier.

    The Death Pit

    Welcome to the "Deathpit"! Tonight there will be even more carnage, since we've built a completely new pit. Now it has a better weapons layout, game play and quality. You can't be bored down there. Here's some info:

    The arena is housed in the main hall, with the bases in the smaller adjacent rooms. In the arena there is a sniper under the lower platform and several places to take cover behind. There are boxes with weapons under the stairs leading from the middle level ring to the upper platform. You can take a grav-lift from the middle platform to the upper platform if you want to get there faster. Since the bases are right next to each other, I've placed the flag/bomb on the far side of the map. This will force the teams to "race".

    Weapons layout: medium range.

    alright i like the look of the first map it seems to be very well thought out but i'm wondering would two bridges be better than one so the fire is like divided and make it more interesting, also turning the bridges upside down makes it smoother. but thats just a thought. i like how you have the windows looking over the canyon sounds very interesting. but i think instead of where you got 2 fusion coils i would put one so it would take more skill to kill them instead of one shot.

    2nd map

    alright i have something kind of like this but my centre structure is put together way different. also is there anything up there making people want to travel there or is it just br's? i like how you have left the path up there open to fire so if you want to get up there it's going to be a risk.

    Yea I don't know why I put the bridges with the rough side up. I guess I forgot to fix them...
    On the Death Pit, people actually go to the upper platform very often. There's a sentinel beam and two fire bombs there. Since it's the highest platform, you have an advantage over the players below.
