Oh man, I wish you had made that at a much higher altitude. I would have used it for a machinima. I guess ill get back to using the Mammoth instead. I could still find a good use for it. You don't mind if I built a city or something around it and used it for a drop off scene in a machinima right? It is so beautiful though. The warthog made it so much more like an exact replica.
dudude so sweet! I copied someboy else's pelican they made for a campaign-inspired map and my map Illumination was based around it, but then I had to delete it. Partway through I tried to attach a warthog to it, but finally gave up. This is so awesome, i'm gonna go make a map around it as long as too much of the budget isn't eaten up yet.
Ah, I remember joining the game while you were forging this, the switch is really cool, and works perfectly, every time. And the community seems to like it as well, (reffering to 3 pages of posts in 1 day) good job.
The intellectualism of your map variant is quite profound while the subtle implicitity of your map carry such voracity, an insurmountable depth goes into your work. Their is a cultural critique and yet a simplicity to your work. Bravo. You are a true artist.
youre very welcome, i enjoyed testing it too. but you dont need to add me in the description, its fine. we can just split the credit 25/75(me/you). but thanks anyways.
Looks good, however as in most things there is always a lil something here and there to fix. Sure nothings perfect, but a little touch up i think would be good. 1. Wings should be closer to the body of it, 2. more proportional, that thing is a monster lol. 3. You should change the way you did the top, i noticed on the second to last picture with the wraith, the corners of the cockpit area has like holes because its really just a box... but yeah i give ita 4/5
Ah i see. that makes more sense ^^. anyway its awesome. Perhaps if it doesnt take that much money you could recreate a few and some bases and make a playable map outa it
A little rough around the edges, but, your attention to detail is to be commended. Very well done, 5/5.
Geez, you do aesthetic as well? Smooth as, great warthog drop function. Can you alter it for a scorpion? Good work on the cockpit, that would be difficult. What's the view like from the mongoose?
I think this could've been done a little bit better, I mean you could've made this into an entire map. I was a ittle dissapointed to see that the only thing in the map was the Pelican. It was a well forged Pelican though, don't get me wrong, but I was expecting a little bit more. I can tell you put a lot of time into this, and it was well worth it. But consider making some scenery around the pelican I think it would help otu greatly.
I built it in around 4 hours, and the only reason I did so was for an aesthetics competition on another site. I decided to enter this because I wasn't expecting too many entrants. I could've placed more buildings for scenery, but I thought that the pelican itself was just fine for the comp. Also, don't type in that color... I can't read without hilighting because I'm using old school right now.
This looks great! Fantastic details on the body and vehicle placement... However, the one feature that stands about to me is your accurate proportions! All of us have seen those very small remakes of Foundry and, even though they are well made something seems wrong. My friends, by making it this size you make it seem that the Pelican is real in the flesh... I mean, the metal... and is simply covered by some sandy paint. Fantastic job! 10/10 for aesthetics.
Asset Map idea do you mind if i use the pelican to make an Asset map? I was thinking ODST and vergil are sent to a secret covenant base/bunker to investigate a new weapon and are dropped off via pelican
If you want. Just make sure it says I built the pelican on the game file and on the map post. also, there's no OLN objects so you know.
awesome aesthetics! It would be perfect for the spawn for odst on a firefight or infection, ect. and yes the pelican DOES beat everything
