This map is actually quite nicer than the map post would have you believe. While the map is a bit sloppy, the actual structure is very well done and the gameplay shown brings me back to one of my favorite halo 2 maps. I wonder why he put a mongoose in though? lol
I don't think this map is bad, I actually think it's really good, it just says custom crappiness because that's the name of the series on my Youtube account. Custom Crappiness is just videos of me and my friends playing various custom games. Sorry for the confusion
No, I actually realized that. I just said what I said because a lot of people were criticizing it for sloppiness in its map post thread.
I actually liked that, its a pretty good representation of what players are like. BTW what was that map?
Great job on the forging but it needs to be on the sky bubble and it could be more accurate in weapons and spawns
How would this map look better in the sky bubble? its a halo 3 remake of the halo2 map relic and that requires land :| instead of wasting pieces to float in the sky.
fyi i didnt make the map, it says Relic BY ACANNIBALCORPSE. Anywhoz, watch the video, at the end it shoes us spawning right in front of the enemies.
Ya, the spawning might be a little broken in the objective games... Never really had a chance to test it as most of my friends online don't play Halo 3 anymore. That and I'm not 100% sure if respawning areas will only spawn you in neutral spawn points contained in the rectangle... Glad you like it in a general sense... I really liked the BTB slayer games they used to have in Halo 2 on Relic. (I wanted to bring duals back...SMG starts for slayer play the best on this IMO) P.S. I added a mongoose as a secondary vehicle for larger games so everyone else doesnt have run on foot when the warthog gets destroyed by rockets / sticky. The Chopper fulfills the anti-warthog role too like the ghost did in Halo 2. I didnt put a ghost because they die easily against hogs now, but are a little overpowered against footsloggers. (chopper has vulnerability with its manouverability) Oh, and who needs the sky-bubble when the towers will shoot you if you go too far?
