Cs_Crackhouse

    Now if your familiar with Counter Strike Source you might of played Cs_Crackhouse, if not check it out. The idea I pitch is to recreate the map with you fellow forgers. The map seems like it can be well within budget range as it's mostly just two bases and a rooftop. The map can be setup for slayer, swat, and assualt gametypes. If you are familiar with the map on counterstrike let me know and see if you would like to forge the map.

    I don't understand. Are you building this and looking for help, or are you asking someone to build it?

    I highly highly highly doubt cs_crackhouse would translate well at all to Reach. The map itself just doesn't seem compatible with Reach in any shape or form. Dust and Dust2 could be (and have been) "ported" but they require gametype tweaks to make them usable.

    Not saying going to css is bad, but there are better maps to choose from.

    You know, out of the good 20-25 CS maps Ive seen on Reach, only one of them actually didn't suck badly, and that one was a Rats map.

    The thing is, the map style for Counter Strike suited the gameplay of counter strike. However, that gameplay, even with a couple of tweaks, really doesn't set up well with Reach, considering the majority of space in the maps are just open areas with lots of cover. The movement in Reach is also ALOT more fluid, so the map would end up so different, it really shouldn't be called a remake.

    Well I'm still gonna do some testing and try and suit it more towards Halo Reach but the map is still gonna stay the same base as crackhouse.

    I think Dust and Dust2 would be awesome for reach with the right gametype Neo. In fact I've been wanting to make them since Halo 3 but I wanted a coforger.

    And zoidberg, message me on xbl when you test it. I can give you criticism and help tweak the gametype if need be.

    I'm not to sure what ya'll rule is on double posting but it's not spam so I feel it's needed. I was wondering if it would be a viable option to make a stockpile game on my crackhouse map with the flags being the hostages persay, that you have to resuce, and lead to the tank in the real crackhouse gametype. Anybody think this would be a real option for recreating it?
