I wasn't so impressed, maybe I'm missing something. It's not that I need to see gameplay footage (though I feel that helps in most cases, some notable exceptions are the trailers for H3: ODST), but it just feels like it's attempting to be deep and emotional, and I'm not getting any of that.

YouTube - Halo 3: ODST Live Action Trailer Full Length HD "We Are ODST"

This trailer is what comes to mind at what they're attempting to be. And at that, it fails massively. We Are ODST has a great song that keeps the tone down, a nice mini-story, and a main character that you understand and can actually appreciate, if only for that short period of time. There's a clear movement of the character's progression in the "story". The Wall has nothing like this; a fairly bad "apocalyptic" version of the New York song (the contrast was good at the beginning, and then just got irritating), random characters with a wall that doesn't follow anything, and a random helicopter attack thing. Hey, I'm excited for Crysis 2 as much as anybody else, the original was spectacular and I'm expecting the sequel to be just as good. But this trailer just wasn't anything special to me.

All in all, decent trailer, though more or less random and overused from the looks of it (apocalyptic world, people are dying, person comes to save them, what an original idea!). Most certainly not one of the greatest trailers of this time, no way.

Erm, I don't recall the first game ever being on the 360, why the sequel? Wasn't there some fuss over the 360 not having DirectX10? Does that man Crysis 2's graphics are "downgraded" from the original?

One hopes that Crysis 2 doesn't require any knowledge of the first game.

It's hard to be excited over a game when I can't play the original.

The original was for the PC. It's that game that very few people can play because it's graphical requirements are so high, and generally considered the game with the best graphics out there. I've heard the graphics are downgraded to work on the 360, regardless it should be beautiful.

Xbox graphics look perfectly fine. Theres a level of "well whats the difference" in graphics and currently thats been hit. No one except the people that don't understand it very well and the PC gamers complain about graphics. Yes I want some nice graphics but you get to a point where you are content and your not particularly bothered anymore and the xbox graphics just do fine for me. If its downgraded, who gives a ****? The people on the xbox that dont understand and the PC gamers who won't be using the xbox version anyway.

Also I have to agree with insane. I did not like the song, the mini-plot wasn't great and overall it didn't interest me. They probably made me less interested in crysis 2. I will be likely to get the game, but bad promotion here :p
