The main thing I took away from my matches on here is that Tyrant loves windows. ;)

I like the design a lot. The death pits make it so that you always have to maintain awareness of where you are. The main drawback for me is the weapon set & timing. I've always preferred fast timers, but the rate at which power items spawn along with the number of power items on the map results in very unfocused gameplay. We generally couldn't cycle through the map fast enough to keep up with the respawn rate. There were several times that both people would pick up the same weapon or powerup within about a 15 second span (one person would pick up OS, then another person would go through the tele and pick it up again immediately after. It sometimes felt more like a fiesta gametype than a BR start gametype.

My suggestion is to stagger the respawn times (maybe have powerups on 60sec and power weapons on 120sec?). Either that or reduce the number of power items on the map.

Thank you for your feedback, Chunk. I'm glad you liked the layout. This was quite an intense contest to enter lol.

I understand where you're getting at with the weapons. I had a sort of arcade-styled philosophy when building this: 4 rooms, 4 death pits, and 4 power sources that spawn every minute (for the purpose of easy weapon-timing wherever you are). I was looking to create a fast-paced environment and force people to think on their feet, whether it was possible for one player to control their key power weapon or not.

Perhaps I could mess with the weapon set and make it more organized. The only thing I thought about removing was the speedboost and putting the plasma grenades in its place. I could up the spawn-time for the OS though, that seems reasonable.

And yes, I can understand it if Tyrant likes that window. I screen-capped the window by itself to let it catch his eye like it were a giant donut.
