    Map Title: Cruiser
    Thats one big ship

    Download Map
    Download Gametype

    Description:
As you have no doubt guessed by now, this is a forged spaceship map. I designed for my 'Boarding Party' gametype, which is basically just 'One Bomb' with some very slight changes

    Outside view of the ship.

The attacking team spawns at the base on the opposite side of the map, with the obvious goal of getting their bomb onto the ship, and blasting it out of the sky.

    Attackers base.

There are three mains ways for the attackers to board the ship, the most obvious being to use the hornet at their base to land on the top of the ship. There is also a man cannon that can launch you into the cargo bay of the ship, and the large grav lift built into the side of the map that can launch you onto the top of the ship.

Grav lift to the top of the ship.

The interior of the ship is composed of a cargo bay, armoury and an observation room, as well as a banshee hangar, landing platforms on top of the ship, and of course, a bomb room. All of the various sections are linked together by a network of teleporters, so now i will do my best to explain which teleporters go to which section.

Lets start from the cargo bay, as it is the room you have to pass through the most. Entering the cargo bay, you will see three teleporters at the far end. The node on the left leads to the armoury, the centre node leads to the landing platforms, and the node on the right leads to the observation room.

    The cargo bay.

Next up, the armoury. The one teleporter in here just leads back to the cargo bay, and there is a selection of weapons for the defenders to choose from. There is also a door that leads straight out the front of the ship that can be used for sniping, or just jumping out of.

    The armoury.

Now, the landing platforms. There are two teleporters here, one leading back to the cargo bay, the other leading to the banshee hangar. There is a hornet on one of the platforms, along with a rocket launcher and brute shot. This section also provides a great view of the map, allowing for sniping, etc.

    The landing platforms.

The banshee hangar is a simple affair, the single teleporter leading back to the landing platforms. The hangar contains four banshees, but use them with care, as they have a long respawn time.

    The banshee hangar.

The ships observation room serves as the spawn point for the defending team. The telporter on the left leads back to the cargo bay, whilst the telporter on the right leads to the bomb room. The bomb room is simply a tiny room where the bomb plant point is, hence the name.

Well, thats it for the teleporters, now for weapon and vehicle listings

    Attackers:

    1 Hornet
    1 Scorpion
    2 Warthogs
5 Mongooses (please dont go on about it if that isn't the proper plural of mongoose)

    1 Sniper rifle
    1 Sentinal beam
    1 Rocket launcher
    1 Missile pod
    4 Power drains
And the usual basic weapons and grenades

    Defenders:

    1 Hornet
    4 Banshees

    1 Energy sword
    1 Needler
    1 Fuel rod gun
    1 Beam rifle
    1 Rocket launcher
    1 Brute shot
And the usual basic weapons and grenades

And of course, the not very well hidden spartan laser (Its in the tunnel in the middle of the map)

Well, thats it from me, i hope you like the map, and i would appreciate any constructive criticism and/or compliments

Nice map but it looks more like an aesthetic map

To some extent yes, but i made it with a gametype in mind, and it doesn't look anywhere near as good as the real aesthetic maps
