It's been a while since my last submission, and I think this one is my best yet. Crucible is a large map intended for the Team Slayer Gametype. The map is also suitable for the Slayer gametype, hence the reason the screenshots are all of neutral colour. The map is symmetrically based, but with 4 corners offering different areas of combat. The first corner is a small shelter which houses trhe sniper rifle behind a large pillar. Asides from this the base is exposed, offering little in the way of tactical benefit. The second corner is the sniper tower. This structure is very tall and has a large effective range. The third corner is a small, lowered platform which offers good cover from the sniper tower and houses the shotgun. Whilst exposed, the height of the platform makes those operating from it difficult to see. The fourth and final corner houses plasma grenades and the Concussion rifle. This corner offers both attacking reinforcements and cover. The four corners are joined by both long platforms and open expanses as shown. Joining the open expanses is a long tunnel which goes beneath the entire structure. The tunnel is long and those that enter are exposed. The Energy Sword is housed here adding to the risk/reward. The central base towers above the rest of the map and enables the safe viewing of all that occurs there. Within the centre base is a Plasma Launcher and Plasma grenades. This looks interesting, I like a few of the structures and layout , the hexagon pillar in the glass walkways looks good and provides nice cover and the weapons seem fair and balanced. There are a few areas that I feel could be tied in better and some more railings would help gameplay. Also if you team colour the structures it will help people to know which area they are in for team games. If the team colour is changed they will.only change colour in team games and ffa they will remain neautral .
Looks like you forced some parts of the map, but overall good. I like the use of the tower tall with the bloom on top.
