I made this map on foundry which is a switch using an aesthetic piece, the control panel. You hold RB to activate the switch and it unlocks the door for you. Screenshots: The Door and Control Panel (Hold RB to activate Control Panel) The Exit The Weapon Room at the End Map
does it work by the mongoose flipping, hitting a fusion coil, and making it explode, thus unblocking the tele? if so, its pretty standard... but congrats for building it around that control panel, that was probably pretty annoying.
Actually... the mongoose is against the wall, over the receiver node, and when you flip it, it just moves forward enough so it's unblocked... LOL, you guys are off. Very simple switch Orange. But I like it.
wow, i was off, i guess i shoulda thought it through more... anyway, its still a nice idea, it just seems to out of the way to be used in a map effectively.
if what master debayter said was true then you would see a mongoose on the door you come out of, which you dont. it flips a momgoose into another mongoose into a fusion coil into a man cannon into a group of fusion coils which blows up the other dusion coil on the other side of the door.
^^That whole post made the most sense ever.... If you can seriously fit two Mongooses along with several Fusion Coils and a Man Cannon all in that small room without something going wrong half of the time, then you are amazing... The switch sounds cool, but sounds unnatural at the same time since all of that is going on. Once I see how it works I'll come back and give a proper review of it.
My friend did something similar with a Ghost, I was thinking the ghost somehow moves out of the way, letting a fusion coil drop on a grav lift, forcing a different grav lift to spawn [or just destroy the same one], moving a crate or block out of the way, allowing you to step through the teleporter.
