It's not really a contest, you don't win anything. Rules: - You must embed pictures of your track - The track can't be bent out of proportion - You must post the pieces needed to make your track (e.g. 4 straights, 2 half straights, 4 R2 corners etc.) I'd post my track now, but I'm being dragged out of the house. I'll be back in a couple of hours, hopefully. Then I'll take a pic and post it. Post yours while you're waiting, pull your set out from under the bed and get creative! Okay, back. Had to go round my Nan's. Joy. Anyway, this is a track I like to call "Tricky Turns". OMG LAUGH AT THE HUGENESS OF THE PHOTO I HAD TO TAKE WITH MY 10.2 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA LOLOLOLOL *ahem* Pieces used: 10 R2 corners 4 R1 corners 2 Crossing tracks 90 degree R2 corners 1 90 degree R1 corner (used with indented straights) 2 indented full straights 5 full straights 1 half straight 1 quarter straight 2 short straights 1 lap counter (half straight) 1 power hub/start line Cars: Just 3 Audi TTs and a Porsche Boxster Now your turn.
This is Scalextric: I have a track in my cupboard somewhere, pretty sure it's only a oval shape though. I'd be kettled if I entered this. Sadly, I doubt this will catch on much =( EDIT: 1. That is not a picture of my track 2. Kind of pointless thread, should be moved to Off-Topic IMO 3. You make lots of pointless threads lol!
Way to cheat. Use your own track. I made this thread to get people using their Scalextric sets again. Everyone uses them about twice and then they're confined to the underside of your bed for all eternity. I spent over £250 ion my set, it's a shame to shun it.
Ebay? Your track is a little more glamourous than mine, but I've got a cool one with bridges and stuff stacked away - although mostly broken. That wire on the underside of the car can be a *****. I find Scalextric to be a 1 day toy, which I don't play with again for another few months.
Yeah, my track's actually warped badly. The car's wire things are the least of my worries. The track in the pic doesn't actually run that well. The cars stop at the special sharp corner. It's a pain in the arse, especially when peoplejust blip their throttle on their controller instead of doing something about it. And I did use eBay. The course was made using less than half of my track. I just don't have much floorspace, that's all.
