I made it enclosed. I also fused double boxes into the wall and ground where the windows are to block them and give the map its own feel. The sniper tower was inspired by Iv0rYSnak3's map Fractured, I liked it how he used that area of the map and still made it look good and not all boxey looking. So I turned that spot into a building and I fused a weapon holder into the wall to make the sniper rifle float, which was a pain in the ass to get it to the right spot. I also liked the look of the top of the boxes fused together to make a wall, it makes it look darker. The bridge started being used when I realized that the map would be horrible if it was a U shaped. So I used the rest of the items to make a bridge. I also made bridge cracked, broken and collapsing. There are bumps on it for that reason. I did not make it smooth on purpose. I even added a hole in it and you can go underneath the bridge in symmetrical games. Also on the light side, I made that the way up to the catwalks is over the crates, to try something new. There is no way out of my map. I put a warthog outside for more scenic looks, and I put a flamethrower next to it and no-one can get them. I also put a truck outside on the other side for more looks. The map is a donut shape and it is a medium sized map, but some people have recommended 16 people. DOWNLOAD HERE
It was just as good as Death Valley, and a lot less confusing. I Never see any symetrical or assymetrical only options on maps. Plus the sniper tunnel was just damn cool.
Looks kinda sloppy and bumpy, could use some more merging. You don't need to take multiple pictures to show us the changes, just say that 'the laser is only used in asymetrical gametypes'.
thanks, but it is a building not a tunnel, unless you are talking about the bridge, but the sniper doesn't spawn there it isn't bumpy though, I have checked it over, IvorySnake checked it, Catmon checked it, another 50 people have checked it, the only part that is bumpy is the bridge, but that was supposed to happen because I think if a bridge is broken it would be bumpy
Great job on the catwalk. This map looks great- 4/5. Only one thing- instead the piled up crates, try using something else.
ran out, and I haven't seen that before I was trying to make the scenery look good and match the city, and I had allot of people saying to use something that isn't a bridge or a fence. and I thought of crates, they spawn back fast though
There is some great interlocking here, and I love those walkways. Great job using the symmetry option as well.
the height ratio seems very nice but it looks just a little messy. but over all much better than average 4/5
I really like this map it looks very nicely made but I have seen like 100 maps with this name so ya nice job
My friends and I played this a couple hours ago. That was by far my most competitive bunch of games I've ever played. Great Interlocking. 5/5!
