    Nice job, implod3. I remember testing this once with you and ender. And yes, everyone, it probably was 75 hrs considering all the editing and new editions put forth.

    This map definitely has potential. If you study other professionaly made maps and get ideas your map could be a whole lot better.

    The merging into the wall was a step up for you instead of leaving cracks in the back. The idea was good, but the execution wasn't as good as it could have been.

    I will give you examples of what I am talking about. The double boxes that make up the 2 bases could have been flipped over and interlocked to give a smoother and better looking surface, and you could have done that thru ought the map.

    These are just a few things that you could change, but these could be done in a version 2 of this.

    I really think that if you take these suggestions and apply them to your map it could become a 9/10 or even a 10/10.

    Are you talking about the double boxes in the red and blue bases, or the boxes in the platforms? I can't flip them in the bases or it will look 2x as ugly, I could on the platforms but it wouldn't match the rest of the map very well. For smoothness, everything is smooth as is, I made sure it's as smooth and clean as possible. And BTW, I had a BUNCH of help from SaLoT, one of MLG's official map makers, he's on my friends list, so for studying other professionally made maps, you can't get better than personal help. He thought the map had great FFA potential, as there is rarely a bad spawn.

    Thanks for clearing up some things, and yes I meant the corner bases. My question is, how would it make it look 2x worse?

    Well, cuz I used open double boxes for the under-base area, and I obviously couldn't flip those without geoing them into the ground a huge amount. So since I can't flip the open doubles without having the whole base geo'd halfway into the ground, that leaves me with 2 regular double boxes. If I flip those, it looks really ugly having a combo of the flipped sides intertwined with the non-flipped sides. Try it out for yourself building a structure with half normal, half flipped. It's way worse than what I have now.

    well I think I'm gonna edit everything, flip the boxes (no matter how ugly the combo is), and see what happens.

    looks like you really wanted people to see the "under the ramp" part, which it look well-merged,but i wouldve added more zing to this post, i got bored seeing the same structure three times sorry...also, if i never saw camo/overshields being used as team-sides...i can't say i would be unhappy...
