None of them do the originals justice. One of my personal favorites from Halo 2 was Midship, and instead of bastardizing the map I decided to simply use the idea of the map as a base to create this one. Overall I think you'll agree that my decision was a good one, as this map has been extremely enjoyable for my friends and I. The map is completely symmetrical. I have placed objective spawns for all game types. It features a base on each end with the back side of Foundry blocked off. There are paths on the left and right of each base towards the other base, and each is different. The action can take place in the bases, on the ground floor, or the top floor. Here are some wide views of the map: These shots should give you a good idea of what the playing area is like, and the two bases. There is a Sword on top of the map and a Shotgun on the bottom level. Down the corridor on one end of the map is a Mauler, the poor man's Shotgun. In each base is Plasma Rifle, the poor man's Mauler. Additionally there is a Regenerator in each base. There is a Battle Rifle situated in each corner, as well as on the interior of the base. A fourth sits in front of the windy corridor I'll show you in a moment. Here are the shots of that side of the map: On either side of the map are a pair of Spike grenades. On the enclosed end there is a needler up top, the other side features a Brute Shot. On the ground on the enclosed side are a pair of Spikers and a Power Drainer. The other side features a pair of Magnums and a Bubble Shield. That sums up the map itself, here is one more shot of the inside of a base. There are two ramps on either side of the base, a front shield door, and a single side door under the ramp coming from the Brute Shot end of the map. Canny players will also be able to leap from the central platform into the bases. Re: Complex, by Esponeo Looks like mad fun, downloading now. Praise for non-remakes/gimmicky maps on Foundry.
Im actually appreciate wide roomy maps like this one this looks to be of course a good FFA/Team Slayer map great job on it. Although I wonder if it play well with large objective based games? I also agree with ssshakedown for non-remakes and such.
