To clarify, this issue is caused by bringing someone else into your game and saving it. I dealt with this for a while then found a solution in simply locking my game and letting no one else in hen I planned to save it. For a co-forge there is 1 additional step. When saving, make sure that the person who saves is host. You will know who should save by checking the pieces. If they line up, you are host, and so you can save. If they don't for you but do for a friend, have him save an take it from his file share.
Ok thanks. I should have figured there would be a separate complaint thread. I'm just very frustrated and venting. Can someone with the authority to do so move this over there? [br][/br]Edited by merge: Wow, thanks a lot man. That is huge to know. It would have taken me a long time to figure out on my own, but now that you mention it, it makes perfect sense. I never close my forge sessions, and I constantly get people dropping in and running around on the map while I am working. Normally I don't mind because I can see how they react, and ask them about it later. But I obviously need to make that stop now. I am very frightened to see how much yet to be discovered damage has been done in the deep sections of my map. Is it just the magnet links that are affected, or everything?
Yea... damn that's pretty amazingly frustrating. I can't use teleporter frames because they cost too much in the invisible dynamic lighting budget, but I also can't place the teleporters alone because of speculated dynamic lighting issues... It's a Glitch-22
