Happy new years and welcome to 2019, a year we all hope to be brighter than our last, so here's to another successful trip around the sun! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday with family and friends
Welcome back to another series of ForgeHub's Community Favorite Maps! We've still got some nominations and winners to catch up on and will be releasing the results until we're brought up to speed. Last month had some of the best nominations we've seen here in a while, so naturally it was always going to be a hard follow up. With that said, here are the nominations and winners for the month of November!
Chronmeister breaks out of his comfort zone on this project and brings us something reminiscent of a Team Fortress 2 map complete with the western village theme! We're really glad to see Chron add some unique maps to his roster and commend him on putting in the time here. This is a great map to receive the 3rd place win.
Prepare yourself for a truly innovative take on dynamic geometry. Its a concept that feels prepped for a mini-game and yet the map supports a mode that's akin to core slayer. There's a level of randomness to the geometry being taken away while also supporting a color coding system so you know what everything is. Take a full read through the author's description to get a more in depth explanation for this skyscraper sized jenga experience.
Pat Sounds created a believably broody atmosphere with Bathos. The map is optimized for 1v1's so next time you want to settle a brawl, jump right in and get sweaty with Bathos.
Thanks again for being patient with us for releasing these results. Tune in next time as we'll be sharing the results from December!
