Awash the sunbaked shores of this Halo 4 remake in Halo 2: Anniversary, you will find Frontier. This core map is complete with classic objective-based modes like CTF, King of the Hill, and Oddball (a personal favorite of mine)! Not to be mistaken with the Halo Wars 2 map of the same name, CptPylot has replicated Frontier’s layout to a seemingly faithful degree. Similar in a way to the legacy map Lockout, this space provides a variety of close encounters within shoulder-to-shoulder hallways, all the way to cross-map takedowns with the sniper rifle and everything in between. Did I also happen to mention this map features an asymmetric layout, too?

The dev. map of the shared name happens to be on the Ark.

Next up is “Sextant” by icyhotspartin. Sextant is a 2v2 to 4v4 asymmetric Slayer space (or of course FFA) tugging at your heart strings of a classic Halo atmosphere on none other than our one Installation 00, the Lesser Ark. The map is beautifully crafted and is as if pulled straight out of the campaign of Halo 3. With overhanging Forerunner structures protruding from the cliffside and overlooking the space of the layout, Sextant will be sure to lose you in the heat of combat and immerse you in the scenery and battle of Installation 00 all over again.

    Oorah, Spartans!

We’re finally here! The first-place winner of July 2020 Community Favorites is none other than Mountain Pass by Hooded Wolf!

Between the crags and arid peaks of Barren’s sweltering desert lies a battlefront compound of trench warfare amid heated push-pull gameplay. Below the sight of a massive arch bridge spanning the mountains, war rages on as Blue team leads the offensive and Red team staves off their assault to hold their ground. The map has a great atmosphere with a variety of lanes, bunkers, and trenches of which you will find lots of cover as well as flank positions scattered through the complex. Halls, rooms, and overhead surface engagements make for fast-paced combat of all varieties and has been nicely designed to be used with the “Attrition” game mode, specifically!

    ‘nade out!!

That sums it up for this month’s selection of community favorites ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for joining us to support your community, your favorite maps, and most importantly, their creators. Congratulations to the top winners of the month and as always, forge on! :forgehub:
