Would you rather have commercial free tv and pay more like Sirius radio or would you rather have TV with commercials but have to pay less.
TV with Commercials. For how much companies pay channels for commercials, if there were none, television would cost a LOAD of money. Definitely commercials.
I hate commercials, the only ones I like are the funny ones. But, that isnt the majority of commercials. So I would go to commercial free tv
I don't know. I think we could cut down on the commercials with a little product placement. Our friend tony hawk does this all the time! Of course, I still have to blow 50 bucks on the game.
I want a relative product placement to commerical ratio so I don't need to hear things like "Quick! Get in the Toyota Yaris!" But I want commercials to be a good enough length so that I can go make a sandwich.
We can't forget the writer's strain- most shows are only about 45 mins long, the rest is commercial time. Not only would we need to create more content, but what about commercials that buffer time between different parts of the story?
like in the movie with Jim Carry where they showed his life for 24 hrs a day and advertised by product placement. (sorry i can't remember the name of the movie)
The Truman Show? I love that movie for who knows what reason. If there were no commercials and tv stations wanted to stay at the same (or more) revenue then they are at now, tv would be VERY expensive. I'll stick with the commercials.
Well TV shows are designed for commercial, so it would be kind of weird to watch a TV show without it particularly with dramas and stuff like that. If you hate watching a ton of commercial try watching it on the web. (Every here of Hulu?)
I would rather have commercials then pay hundreds of dollars a month just to watch tv without commercials. GET A TIVO.
