i just have to add that th flame-thrower is really really nooby. take it out if you ever expect this to be played seriously. i mean for mlg tournaments.

Ok first off Great post. It really lets you see the map. Second I Know with no doubt that this will be featured. Good job!
To my knowledge, there's no way to escape. Usually I say that I mean 'I don't know of any way, but one probably exists', but in this case I mean 'I don't know of any way, and I'm pretty sure there really isn't one.' In any case, you can't get out in the are shown in that screenshot, you can see out but the gap's nowhere near big enough. I realise the Flamethrower is 'Nooby' but I don't think anyone will be playing MLG on this, it's just for a small, fun game.
No joke, this map needs to be featured right away. I still can't work out an easy way to geomerge, but it seems you have! That bridge must have been hard to merge on a slope. Interlocking is perfecto, geomerging awsome...no improvments needed. A sure 15/5.
Gar! Quit sneaking these maps in without telling me! I'm not sure if you've updated this map since I've helped test, but even then it was a pretty fun match. And when I say fun, I mean we forget about the competitiveness of the map and started tossing around fire, using the wonderful geometry to advantage. Even so, this is a great map like much of your work Weremidget, and I really hope you come back to forging soon. Also, the map can be broken with a few very skilled/lucky grenade jumps, but I won't tell no one. :s ~ Domi Boy
Good to see a map with at least 1 weapon not in MLG's rediculously small and limited weaponset. The map's construction is extremely clean and solid. Excellent Layout too. My biggest issue is that most of the map reminds me of various sections of other maps I have seen. Don't get me wrong, the map is absolutely gorgeous, It just doesnt seem to have anything I haven't seen before. Ditto
Weremidget, you are probably one of my favorite Comp. map makers. The detail and design of this map is thought-provoking and has strategies of its own. I think that you have some of the most under-recognized maps here, and it's a shame, because nearly everything that you've made is made to be perfectly balanced for games.
I just downloaded it and it´s great! Your interlocking and geomerging is unbelievable. The only thing i don´t like that much is the fact that the sniper respawns that late, and that there´s a flamethrower on the map... But definitely a 5/5
Sigh, well its been a long time since I've been on- but seeing Weremidget's new stuff was easily the first thing I was going to do. First off, Combustion is a very polished map with a lot of aesthetic features. Unfortunately, Combustion just isn't as good as some of Weremidget's other maps. The floor-fusion was very good, especially since I've finally figured out how to do it myself and can fully appreciate the effort it takes. The whole idea of flame weapons is a little overpowering, but it manages to work rather well on this map. I'm going to give this map a 7/10. Why not more? Because, Weremidget can do EVEN better than this- anyone who's seen Atrium or Habitat Beta knows this- and I feel this map just doesn't quite live up to his others. Either way, great job, Weremidget! (BTW- I may take me awhile to publish my next map....)
