I never thought I would see a Pokemon signature lol. K, looks alright, your blending is good, but you need to work on your lighting and the effects seem really dull, try to take a different colour for the text, especially because white is very boring colour for text if used in a colour signature, try to take a colour from the signature itself, and maybe try a version without that font, and closer to the render.
cnc please, thank you photoshop cs4 extended there edited sorry i forgot to add that in thanks for the heads up shadow
Fine. *Edited* The reason for me not putting them is because, even if I put Photoshop, Icecikle CnC's it. Also, I think they know me well enough to know what program I use.
The effects on the left is a bit distracting because of your placement and kills your flow a bit, try to move your text over or closer to the render, also a lot of your render is blurred, just keep it at it's normal sharpness. Border is too thick, or just make it a widescreen with what you have, your effects look low opacity on here, I can't really see what else you did other than the blur background and set some C4D sort of object on low opacity. What do you think you are doing Shadow? Unless you are here to for a signature to be CnC'd DO NOT POST. It doesn't matter if it is posted anymore, no one does so just leave it.
Much better, keep up the work, you're getting better. The cat looks like it's on fire, try to change your colour scheme, the cat is really contrasted against your soft coloured background. The purple really clashes with the orangy fur, also your text has really low opacity I can hardly see anything it says, the C4D is a little too busy in the middle of the signature too. The sig seems a bit boring with the full monochromatic colour scale on each. That dark C4D in the back is really distracting from the focal because of how much darker it is compared to the singer dude. Also, your canvas size is really different.
ok heres my last sig for the night hope you enjoy please suggest some style of text cuz i cant think of any CnC and enjoy
I was bored, so I decided to make a image of the movie Inside Man, tell me if you think I should add or change anything. Spoiler You probably know already, but GIMP. EDIT: Also if it's not too much trouble: Spoiler V1 V2: Skipped a bunch of different versions, i like the second one better..? I'm just trying a bunch of fonts, Idk which ones look the best for SOTW?
The stock was black and white, so the sig sort of had to be monochromatic. I could make it black and white if that helps, but I just figured some color would help the overall look. As for the C4D, I could change the blending mode. The canvas was cropped due to excess white on the right side. Should I just keep the usual 370x170? Though they could both use improvement, which is better?
This is definitely one of your better ones, huge jump from your previous signature... Nice use of depth, the colours are pretty good too, keep up the work, also try to work on your text, I can't really suggest anything, just see what works, stay away from the colour white, it's boring, bland and doesn't do anything interesting, try to pull a colour from the signature itself. Kinda plain man, I can't really see much that you did other than a bunch of scan lines and add text, not your best man. Your effects seem a bit bland and blend a lot with your background, the tiger's whiskers are way too over sharpened, and the text could use some work, especially your placement and font. Don't make borders thicker than 1, 2 or 3 pixels, anything past that is really bleh, you don't want to cut off too much of the signature, or you don't want it to look too much like a normal picture frame. Your Inside Man LP is a bit boring, not much done other than added contrast, scan lines and clipping masks, try to really go outside of the box for LP's, they have massive canvas size most the time, so just step outside and use a bunch of different things. What is it with you guys and your scan lines lol? Personally I do not like the text on either, it's just white, and white text doesn't bring out much of your signature, try to take a colour from the signature and use that as your text colour, avoid white and black for your font colour, also move your text into the dark area, it will balance out the bright to dark ratio in your signature. Well I didn't say your canvas size was bad, just that it was different, and personally, I think you should make your sig black and white, colours bring out too much of ONE thing in signatures, like red would bring out high lights more than it would for shadows, and blue would bring out shadows more than high lights, so stick with B&W unless you want to go and colour inject a bunch of colours manually, which takes some time. Also try to add some text. You guys really have me working today, just a message to everyone who's being posting their work to be criticized: It's great to see everyone is improving slowly but surely, keep up the work.
