I've been so consumed by the Bungie classic maps remake project that I've had hardly any time to work on original stuff. I did release an earlier version of this map a few months ago but it wasn't really ready. I believe that this incarnation is pretty spot on, and should offer up some killer gameplay! The story behind the map is - As war escalates between humans and the Covenant, it's only a matter of time before battles will be fought on the Covenant's turf - in their ships. Using gathered intelligence, this training simulator was designed to help prepare for this inevitable scenario. This is a symmetrical, 2 base map comprised of 3 levels. The topmost level is that of the main base areas, a middle level which is the most dangerous to hang out in, and a lower level with power weapons and lifts that will take you back to the middle level. Watch your radar on the middle and lowest levels as they are directly on top of one another. This map is great for team and/or FFA slayer modes, but is also equally effective for flag, headhunter, stockpile, KOTH, Territory and Infection game types. i applaud your efforts, covenant-themed maps are a pain to make (i would know), however, i would suggest better integrating the crates and barriers into the walls to make the map more immersive, rather than superimposing among the map, also, watch the curves, as I can say so far, covenant structures tend to be very rounded out, with the only large flat surfaces being the floors. they also like the number 3, (tripod cannons, the pattern on the vehicle lift, the 3 sections to the covenant barriers). so perhaps you can base the architecture on this as well.
