    Map Title: Close-Quarters
A Small 4-8 player based map

    Download Map

    Description:

Hey, i'm a newcomer to Forgehub and This is a map me and my brother have made quite recently. Its basically a symmetrical map that can be used for the following game types:
    • Multi-flag CTF
    • Team Slayer
    • Assualt
    • VIP
Basically, most team games. It has two bases with a pit in the middle, they are connected by two routes, one which runs through the middle, and one which is connected by two way nodes, allowing for options if the other team won't let you past. In each base there is a weapon rack containing 4x BR's, Spike Grenades, a shotgun and other weapons and equipment.
Inside the pit in each base is 4 fusion coils, meaning that if you fall in, you generally don't get out if the other team is nearby, that is of course, if they don't notice you...
In the central path there is a rocket launcher, there is also some explosives to kill the other team as they pass through. As i say, this map was intended for sall 4-8 player team game types, so is no very good on FFA slayer, oddball etc.

Hey I see your having trouble embedding your images into your post, well dont worry here is a quick way to fix this problem.
Step 1. Access your Bungie.net screenshots that show your map & save them onto your computer.
Step 2. Create an account on www.photobucket.com (its completly free).
Step 3. Sign into your newly created account.
Step 4. Use the Browse feature to select the screenshot/s required. (making sure you are selecting the pictures from your computer).

Step 5. Press Upload and wait untill the process is complete.
Step 6. Use the IMG Code

I know it's your first post, but this is a website meant specifically for detailed posts with pictures and links. Otherwise this would just be bungie.net. Please read the how to post your map forum.

Nice interlocking and overall nice map but you might want to delete the armories because most people on ForgeHub don't like armories and they spoil maps in some ways. It makes it more fun if it is a quest to get good weapons which also ensues more gameplay/battles.

I actually think an armoury on this map could serve a purpose. camping is an issue in such a small map? i think not there is no obvious - DEFINATE safe spots to camp even next to the armour spawn points face you so i think the armoury holds a choke point for the map wether that was intended its interesting, also nice work on getting your pics embedded definatly brings more attention to your map :)

sweet, another close quarters map. it looks good, bu tit looks like you didnt interlock were you could have which make it look alittle sloppy. but nice idea, and it looks fun. Qued for DL

It doesn't look sloppy to me at all, from the pics anyway. Armories are usually a bad idea, but if it doesn't give a huge advantage then whatever.

@ that warned kid: I don't see any interlocking at all, think your posts out a little better, or point out a specific point in which he could interlock where he didn't.

Good, you fixed it. Next time click on the preview post button to make sure your pictures will show up, because the first few minutes after the map is posted is when it is in the NEWEST MAP section and will be seen the most.

A couple more pics may help get a better understanding of layout, but besides that its a great map.

Good map there. Love the Aesthetics you add to all of your maps. But the weapons on walls make ut sort of unbalalnced

the layout looks cool, but you should really spread out weapons more, and the map could be cleaned up in some areas.

this looks good, i like the weapons lockers, but I think it could use a little bit of interlocking, maybe flip those boxes over to create a level smooth playing field, ill dl, nice job kid

interlocking would do wonder for this map like the first picture. if there are fusion coils in the pit, you can jump on top of them and get out. test out things like inescapable pits by trying in any way to get out. good first post!
