Not sure if anyone has posted a thread about this, but for those interested in bringing back some classic infection games, I highly recommend using these mods as gametypes: [Link removed] Classic games like Dunt Hunt, Cops and Robbers, or Speed Halo are much easier to play with these mods and they can be used any retail console. I hope this helps and map remakers out there. Happy forging!
I don't mean to be a white knight or anything but Forge Hub does not permit the distribution of any mods in any game that violates the user agreements with any of our affiliates. Putting that aside, it's nice to know that people figured out how to script new gametypes into the game. Hopefully this means that official gametypes will be released soon.
Bookmarked. Personally ALOT of these could come in handy for me. On the other hand, I'm worried if this is considered modding, and if its against Microsoft's terms and agreements. Even if it isn't, I've noticed alot of the staff here don't condone modding of any kind. I'd suggest looking into this to check if it does infact violate any of the T&C's, If it doesn't I can't imagine why FH would have a problem with this as it is very resourceful. I however won't be using them until I get confirmation that using them won't get me banned. Can anybody do that?
Sorry, I was worried that doing so may be an issue but considering it doesn't harm anyone and that this isn't 343i's forum, I figured it would be okay. Yeah I'm not sure if FH would allow this or not, but I figured I would just try to help people out. From what I know and played, you won't get banned for using these gametypes or anything considering it's not cheating. I know someone who has modded gametypes on their file share and he hasn't been banned or anything either, but I'm not sure if this will change when the File Browser is actually implemented. Playing them isn't an issue though.
