Hello & Welcome to the Clarity of Faith Preview! As some of you may be aware, here on Forgehub we lack certain maps in specific Reach Custom Content, This being the amount of Covenant Based Maps or Map Designs revolving more specificity around there Fleet of ships. After attempting to create this ship previously and never getting around to finishing due to budget issues and general lack of understanding about its design I have decided to give it another shot. This time around I have done more research and gained some ideas that I can input into the map also find ways to make it more playable and still keep the Aesthetic's to give the best interpretation of what I am hoping to achieve. The Ships Specifications The Actual ship is based of the design from Halo 2, But I have decided to base the design of the more modern Assault Carrier's from Halo 3 onwards as I feel this would give a better representation. So the actual ships Dimensions are as followed: Length = 5,346 Metres Width = 2,118 Metres Height = 700 Metres As you can see this is huge and will be no easy project to produce, with such I am trying to get the best ratio possible that will allow a decent sized ship and allow me enough budget to work with as well as giving me a better basis to build around I have gone with 1:50 Ratio. So the Forged Ship Dimensions are as followed: Length = 100.9 Units Width = 42 Units Height = 14 Units --------------- Top = 7 Units Bottom = 7 Units ( ^^This Measurement above allowed me to get a centre point) --------------- (The measurements above were conducted using a boundary, this works out for every Unit = Metre. For Example 3 Units = 3 Metres, This I feel gives me the best idea to what size the ship should be.) The Covenant Assault Carrier Spoiler These are official pictures of a Covenant Assault Carrier. I want to hear what the public are looking for in such a map! so please feel free to give your Comments, Feedback, Criticism, Idea's Or Suggestions and above all Honest Opinions. Hey bud! Told you you could come up with a neat way around designing this it looks terrific so far and much cleaner than those before it, do you still consider the chin/front area to be the hardest so far? And yes, getting the ratio of the build to look right compared to the assault carriers actual size is a intense project, this design especially has always been massive in game, and not much is known about the way the interior is meant to look besides a few glimpses. Definately up for helping out with the project if its needed these are the kind of aesthetic designs I really love to see .
Hey man sorry I haven't been around on here for quite some time been real busy also brought a new 360 resulting in me losing all my maps including my savannah v2 LOL might have it all back up some where, anyway yeah the nose was a task to work out again unfortunately lost all my data so I am going to start again as I got a nice message from someone who wished me to finish this and I fought I should really give it a shot.
