I think there are enough power weapons on the map. For a 1v1 or 2v2, the Sniper, Needler and Sticky Det are definitely enough to keep people moving around. They also respawn relatively quickly. I don't think more power weapons are needed, in my opinion. Regarding ammo, this is actually a really good point. I've never bumped into this problem myself because I die too much, but I do think that including two BRs, DMRs and Carbines (to complement the Daxy Slayer gametype), would supply enough ammo for those in need of it. From personal experience, I've found it depends on the game. Some games have taken place primarily on the walkways near the receiver node. Other games have mostly taken place in the centre structure. One point I would like to raise, though, is that I don't believe Hologram spawn gets enough action. Compared to the rest of the map, it seems like the furthest away from major areas. Perhaps switching it around for the more desirable Promethean Vision would attract more players to the area? I didn't notice this myself, haha, but now that you mention it it's true. Maybe Dax has it this way because he didn't want too much action at the other end of the map? I do agree that there are more weapons and more routes in the centre structure than anywhere else.
Hmm..seems like there's some debate as to where the majority of the action occurs. RST, you felt like there was too much action taking place in the covered portion of the map where the sender is? One thing I actually noticed about that area, if anything I'm leaning towards SpinCycle's opinion about that area. I definitely noticed the sender was underutilized. About the weapon issues- I definitely agree with you on adding ammo for the dmr,br, and carbine. I honestly don't know why I never got around to it, but consider it done! About the lack of weapon variety though, what would you suggest? There's currently a Sniper, Sticky det, Needler, and PP so I'm not really sure what else could work without it being too much. Also, you mentioned having weapons out from the covered sender hall area. I'm a little confused though, lol. There isn't actually a weapon in that area, and Snipe, Needler, and Plasma pistol are all on the opposite side of the map. I know what you mean about going through the sender and then up the lift which puts you back close to the sender. Any suggestions on that? I'd love to get more of your opinions and get a few a games with you. Send me a friend request sometime? Kaz, I'm interested in that idea of switching the Holo out and putting Pro vision there. I'll try it out sometime soon.
