I feel that the Turtle Beach Wireless Headset was a fantastic investment for me. Not only does it project voices, but it also provides suround sound of the game sound. I can even hear footsteps sneaking up behind me.
That's pretty neat, but is it only for Xbox Live? If i'm going to invest that much in a quality headset I'd like to be able to use it with other outputs (such as my stereo)
I'm pretty sure you can alternate the input. The one that I'm currently using plugs into my Xbox 360 controller and I think you can change it. I'm not exactly sure, however. EDIT: I just did a little research and discovered that it certainly can be used for other outputs, such as an iPod, a stereo, and a PS3.
Alright. Well, for the past couple of hour I've been considering it, and if there aren't many other things I want, it sounds pretty sweet. How does it connect to the iPod/Stereo though? Through a normal headset connection or the red/white/yellow cables?
The adapter for the wireless connects via the RCA cables (red/white/yellow). I couldn't really give an in-depth explanation on how it works, I suggest doing a little research on it before purchasing, however.
Get Left 4 Dead. It is an amazing game. If you like zombie games, then you will love Left 4 Dead. You should also get Dead Space. I am getting that for xmas as well.
