I'm not sure what to get my girlfriend for Christmas. I know all of her favorites so I went to the store and picked up some candy she likes and then some stuff to make a card with. I would just like to add something to it, but not something too big. We're kind of keeping it simple because we just started going out a few weeks ago. She makes scarves for all of her friends so she's making me one for Christmas. Do you guys have any ideas? Like something I could make or buy that would be simple but cool? I already bought her favorite flowers when I asked her out so I don't want to be repetitive.
If you really like the girl, and are shooting for mid to long term relationships, make something. Doesn't have to be fancy, believe it or not, girls love personal things. Give a girl a diamond bracelet, and they're happy that you reminded them that they're dating you cause you're rich. Show your sensitive side, and you are so in there.
Sing her "I wanna hold your hand". If you suck at singing, that makes it even more romantic. In fact, try to make it sound terrible to manipulate her into thinking you are romantic.
Or she could find it terrible and laugh the whole time, then it ends up being awkward and your only choice is to continue the sham and show her that you're dedicated. Or you quit it, act like it was a joke and, I hope, you've got a plan B. So in other words don't sing, if you're not a singer.
You should make one ginger bread man and one ginger bread woman, and mold them so they are holding hands and it forms a heart in the middle. Give it to her along with the card and candy.
Honestly, I would say it depends how old you are/ what grade/ year of college you/she are in. How long you've been dating. How long you want to be dating. Your budget. etc...
We can't really tell you what to get her cuz we don't know her and don't know what kind of things she likes. Only 8 and a half hours!
