This map is for those who like a challenging game of one flag CTF or one bomb assault. It's a long double deck bridge with a "checkpoint" at one end. The defenders start with few weapons to choose from and little ammo, but the checkpoint can be defended with good teamwork. The attackers start with plenty of weapons full of ammo, but it's a long way down and back if you don't work together....and you don't want to give up any power weapons to the defenders!

The map works best with 3v3 or 4v4 and I like it better with the radar turned off.

    Weapons list:
    1 AR 8 frag nades
    5 BRs 8 plasma nades
    1 Shotgun
    2 Snipers
    2 SMGs Equipment list:
    2 Spikers 2 Bubble shields
    2 Magnums 1 Regen
1 Plasma Pistol 1 Power Drain
    1 Needler 1 Overshield
    1 Rocket 1 Camo
    1 Brute Shot
    1 Cov. Carbine
    1 Mauler
1 Machine Gun Turret (which is immediately knocked off it's stand)

And please don't complain about pieces not being merged....it gives the bridge a more battle weary look/feel (as do the missing parts of the bridge).

Wow, For a Map with barely any merging. It looks awesome. very Nice. I see that you focused on Gameplay More. CTF and Slayer look fun on this. I'll check her out and see. 5/5

Ok first off don't rate a map if you have not downloaded and had a game on it.

OK it may be a great idea to have a better base for blue you can really just know where the spawns are, which means spawn killing, this is just a theory but it is very possible it will happen. This leads to the main stretch there is no cover really, those barriers can just get blown off, which then brs are going to domiate the battle field. You have to remember aswell snipers in open combat does not work to well depending on the size of the map which is big on the bridge, it is not the best combination. Where is the flag placed in the red base?

I can see a warthog and a mongoose are both on the blue side, i know the warthog is but is the mongoose? you have done a lot of work on this map i can clearly see but i would have to download and have a few games before i can see how the gamplay is affected. Overall i love the design but it will most likely need to improve.

If you are planing any games be sure to invite me GT Combat P3nguin

I will download and have a look around and i will edit when i get back on forgehub

EDIT: After looking through the map it's really good but all you really need tyo do is add some cover on the bridge just so the flag carrier or players are caught out by the brs and sniper.

As Combat Penguin pointed out, I think the offensive Base could use a little more TLC; in the event the defensive people decide to go on the offensive, the offenders need to have a place to fall back to. Beyond that, more cover on the bridge, maybe some verticality, but overall not a bad map. Red base is interestingly designed, and the two-tiered bridge is impressive.

Then why did you join it????

ok what im trying to say is you can't make a jugdement on a map you have not played.

e.g. rating a cake just on its looks theres other factors you do relise

    structure
    taste
    colour

    Other factors do apply

You you would have to download and play a few games before you can rate it

OK, to clear up some issues...
I did the offensive base last and hit the object limit number while designing it, so I had to scale it back. In the games I played on it spawn killing was not a factor....there are some spawn points on the lower deck to solve that issue.
The lack of cover on the bridge is what makes it a challenging map. If there were places to hide, the gameplay wouldn't be as tough. The use of bubble shields and the lower deck were crucial during games I played.

As for the debate about rating....It seemed as tho Devil95 was rating the LOOK of the map based on pics, which is ok with me. But Combat Penguin is right about one thing...you should download the map before rating any gameplay.

Lack of cover on the bridge will not help the attackers because you put a warthog and barricade at one end of a long open area. Any good warthog driver would drive slowly behind the barricade drawing all the enemy fire, while the rest of the team rushes below to capture the flag. The only thing to stop this might be your bumpy surfaces.
