    Chateau
    I am currently working on a v2, suggestions are greatly appreciated.


    Chateau is a map that took 30+ hours of work. It is mainly an aesthetic map. but plays well for slayer based games. It includes an elevator, closeable front door, big screen t.v., garage, kitchen and a pool. Petrification is a infection varient of Chateau, with some doors closed. The gametype is also called Petrification, ironically. This is my first forgehub map posting, so be nice. I am planning on making a V2, so any helpful comments would be greatly appreciated.

    wow for your first map it looks pretty good but did you know that you can use the symmetrical option so you dont have to make 2 maps?

    It looks pretty good!!! You put a lot of effort into your map and your post...great job! may need a little touch up on the t.v. it looks like on the left side of the pic the shield sticks out past the barrier...i could be wrong...keep up the good work...

    hey for a first map it looks great but did you use photobucket or image shack if you used photobucket read the thread in my sig for info on how to use photobucket effectivley

    thanks for all the great comments, i appreciate it. i used image shack, i couldn't figure out how to make the images bigger, mabye i'll start using photobucket. thanks or the suggestion about the t.v., any others?

    yeah i tried image shack and got the same results good luck and that thread shows step by step how to use photobucket

    It looks as though you posted the thumbnails and not the real pictures, but it does look kind of fun.

    Wow that looks really sick as your first map, just one question: what does a custom powerup and an elevator have in common? 50% gravity?

    there is a grav lift under the crate trying to force it up, but with the custom powerup there it cannot, as the custom powerup is immovable. once you step on the custom powerup, the grav lift is able to push up the crate. it would work the same with an active camo or an overshield. hope that clears things up.

    EDIT:
    So i am currently working on a v2, anyone have suggestions for improvement?
