This is my first map that I feel is decent enough to post out there... Please be gentle! CHAOS Created by: Rabid33/AscendantGambit Overall, the map is made mostly for Slayer and CTF. Originally I intended for a sniper map, which could still work. The map is also decent with vehicals. This view is from the middle of the back wall. You can see the bases barely, but the main focus is on the three floor tower. It offers the highest elevation in the game. The first to floors are reached by ramps and stairs, and the third by two way teleporters. This View will give you a better look at the bases layouts. Its nothing flashy, pretty simple. This View, form the middle of the side wall, lets you get a look at the middle of the map. It looks very empty, but some things are eclipsed by walls and such. These views are from the back corners, and allow a better look at the map and its design. From here, we get a look at the back wall, and it's layout. The bridges look steep, but as long as you jump the first silver part, you can make it. And in the pictures, I forgot to put a wall back to Spawn at start, however, its fixed in the game. The final pic gives you the outlook you would experiance from the base. WEAPONS ON MAP Battle Rifle x4 Assault Rifle x4 SMG x4 Plasma Rifle x4 Spiker x4 Carbine x4 Mauler x4 Turret x3 Brute Shot x2 Rockets (2 shots each, no extra clips) x2 Sniper Rifle (Symmetric Gametypes) x2 Beam Rifle (Asymmetric Gametypes) x2 Spartan Laser x1 Energy Sword x1 VEHICLES ON MAP Mongoose x4 Warthog (Asymmetric Gametypes only have one) x2 Gauss Hog (Not on Asymmetric Maps) x2 Ghost x1 EQUIPMENT ON MAP Trip Mine x4 Power Drain x3 Bubble Shield x2 Regenerator x2 Grav Lift (Both Hidden) x2 Asymmetric Gametypes = 1 flag, 1 Bomb, FFA, neutral bomb and such Symmetric Games = Quilting Team slayer and such. Pics aren't working, so all I can really say is about the weapon list. And from the looks of it, with 2 rockets, 2 snipers, a sword, a laser, and 3 turrets, it seems a little power weapon heavy. Also, there's a guide on this site that says you should never have 2 beam snipers on the map.
The rockets are set up like they are on standoff. I belive there respawn is longer though. Theres one turret at each base, and then one at the middle of the back wall Pics are up. Sniper Rifles are only For Muilti Flag Team Slayer and such, wile Beam Rifles are for One flag and such. The Splaser can always be taken out, i just didn't want to have vehicles control the map is all. And two of the three turrets are in a box, so through a grenade or two in and the gunner is down, and the turret probably wrecked. Also its not really that power weapon dependent. Each one has a weakness to getting it, or that comes with it. like i said, two of the turrets are taken out easily. The snipers have a quick route to the third level on the tower, right across from splaser. Rockets don't have spare clips. Sword is next to the maulers and shotgun. Shotgun is close to the bases so it will be frantic getting that.
O...My...Gosh... If only you interlocked... if ONLY... This is really good, not the best but good. I love the neatness, and the tower. I only see two minor problems and one annoyance. The first problem is how do you get to the second floor of the tower. The second problem is that you used no interlocking. and the annoyance is all those barriers. Believe me, I really like the looks of this map, epic... and if you interlocked I would have downloaded...
The Reason I didn't interlock with two small exceptions, is because im not very good with it yet. As for getting at the second floor on the Tower, there is a staircase leading to it from each base. I r like barriers D:
I actually like it, looks clean but there's a couple things, you should flip some of the boxes that you walk on so it looks nicer. Also you should take out a rocket and put the other one in the middle so everyone can fight for it and take out some of the other power weapons because it seems a little power heavy.
you know how you said if you just the silver part of the bridges if you flip the bridges over then there will be no jumping over the silver thought i would just let you know but it looks great
Try interlocking walls down into the boxes instead of using barriers. It will make the map look cleaner and more professional.
This is an awsome map, i like the tower and stuff, and i understand your new to forgehub, so after a while you'll learn all the best tricks to improve your map, remember to loolk around and check out the fourms to learn how to fuse objects and get infinite money... good forging by the way if your woundering what interlocking means, it means to fuse like a box or a wall into another object... if you want to learn how to do it just check out the fourms and you'll be a pro forger in no time....
Since when does Mr. TDF go post on regular maps, however I agree he needs interlocking on his post. I suggest going to Forging 101. It'll help you out. ^^
Just a question, was Halo 2's Colossus an inspiration for this map? Anyway, it looks pretty sick. I love the clean look of this, and the smooth even layout. Good weapon selection, though it's a bit hard to make out from your pictures. I'll be sure to check it out later.

Cool. Nice interlocking, but the map itself doesn't really appeal to me game play wise. Good map though. 4/5.

nice map 4/5 but choose a diffrent name cause the name chaos is just about the most used map name ive seen so far.
