Download Cenotaph Here Cenotaph is a hang 'em high inspired asymmetrical two base map. Its recommended gametypes are multiflag CTF (Ons V5) and Team slayer. On the map there are 2 sniper rifles, an OS and rockets, all on MLG default respawn times. The snipers spawn in the corners opposite each of the bases, the rockets and OS spawn opposite each other on each end of the central grate that runs along foundry's floor. Both bases have 4 floors, and have been constructed so that when jumping on the top floor of either base, you will not hit the invisible roof/barrier that Bungie so unkindly placed above foundry. good looking map but to me it seems like theres too many routes up to the top meaning that you can be getting shot from far away possibly not knowing where its coming from so the tops too open but the base floor i like it looks like it will play well
Looks very classy Iv0ry (I didn't expect anything less). Good to see another lovely asym MLG map out and about. I can't wait to try it out. One thing though, those dumbsters look odd. I know you have a hang 'em high feel, but it does seem a bit weird. idk why either. May just be me... oh well, I don't doubt your reasons of anything placed in the map since I know you're a great forger. Like I said, can't wait to test it out. (Esp. since I'll be playing it right by Regicide)
People, you need to play this map. End of story. Talk about how the pictures look and all that until your fingers fall off, but play this map at the first opportunity. It's way beyond most of the maps that you've played competitively, I can promise you that. CTF and Hill are spectacular, and I was playing the beta version. You've really outdone yourself here, Iv0rY. Not only does it give me the Hang 'Em High feel, but you've created an asymmetrical map that has spectacular gameplay. This is going down as one of my favorites.
Wow. I hit DL right when I saw Hang 'em High inspired, and after a look at the pictures and description itself, I knew this was a gem. Looks like it would make for completely new and different gameplay, and props for this one.

Great looking map! The interlocking Is beutiful and all of the bridges look like it would create a chaotic slayer environment. From what I can see it is a great map. It looks like it will work well for every gametype. Did you test it for that? Anyways the pictures make it look like its worth a DL. I'll try to get back to you on that one. Edit- After DL'ing the other two maps I didn't think you could get away with 3 great maps in a row, but you did it. This one reminds me of your previous map, Pulse, but it plays entirely different. The bridges are the main thing in this map that makes it so unique. Each floor has ample cover and a different layout. I love the interlocking. I think this is my favorite of the 3. Another 5/5. Keep up the great work!
I guess its kinda risky map choose to go topside with the flag faster but harder or take the bottom slower but easier Looks great I love these kind of maps walkways and all the bases I've been trying to make this but fail at it so I show a tiny bit in each map 5/5 KEEP IT UP
I like maps were all the action isn't on the grounds but i agree to im a berk it is open but that don't mean much until I dl and try it.
I think you need some sort of small wall on a lot of those walkways. Whenever i play maps where its just tons of walkways, i always fall off because i'll be busy trying to br a guy or something and i'll lose my footing and he gets away. i know some may point and say "well that's the risk of the walkways and you gotta strategize", however, i think it will lead to more frustration than great gameplay. you don't have to put something on every walk way, but a few here and there would be nice. just a thought.
Seeing as I have $2 left, and I ain't allowed to budget glitch I don't think that'll be happening, but you don't actually fall off as much as you'd think.
Hang em high didn't have railings and halo 1 had fall damage and that worked perfectly fine. once you learn the map better you won't be falling off. Ivory you're a beast, is this improved from the beta version or no?

Fun CTF Map This map is another great map that I played with you. It's definitely better for CTF. I think this plays better CTF than Delerium, but that's my opinion. Like some other people said, this map is open for lots of BR and it makes it hard to score the flag, which is good. It makes it so that you need the whole team working together to bring the flag to your base. Once again, good map, great interlocking, nice gameplay. I'm looking forward to some more amazing maps. -Snipermaster95
I can see the resemblance of this and Hang 'Em High. The interlocking is very very clean, especially the one in those flat pathways made out of walls. Looks like it has fast-paced game play, which means fun!!! Actually, besides MLG gametypes, SWAT could actually be fun here too because it has many ramps and stuff. Good job.
Squidhands is right. I played this map with friends and it is the best MLG map I've played on Halo 3. The layout makes for perfect gameplay and I promise you'll love it. Good job Ivory.
Congrats on the much deserved Forge Like A Pro contest win. This map is just incredible, and it's a shame that it isn't getting more attention.
The flag game we played on this map last night, was such a long Epic game, I thought it would never end! This is a great map by the way. The only thing I didn't like was that it felt like I was climbing Mt Everest to cap a flag.
