CDG: Waterworks

    I updated this map and removed the plasma launcher and a concussion rifle. I also added a couple of blocks above the main tunnel and moved all of the special fx filters because I didn't know they showed in gameplay.

    My entry for team slayer in the bungie contest is complete - CDG: Waterworks
    This is an entirely indoor map that supports all game modes. The map is mostly symmetrical with some variation throughout. It should be balanced for all modes.
    There aren't too many power weapons, but some are added for certain modes. The respawn timers are set high for the power weapons and most of them don't spawn at start. There are no vehicles unless you're playing race. I used 4 special fx filters, Slayer has Juicy, Invasion has Purple, Infection has Orange, and Headhunter has Nova. Invasion is setup so that you only use half of the map for the first round. There are one way doors blocking the rest.

    I can't really get a good sense of the map with the pictures you've provided. Is it possible to have an overview picture or a video so that we can see the entirety of the map?

    also when taking pictures in theater mode, disconnect the camera from your hud with the Y button and take the pictures unobstructed ;)

    Also might want to be careful about the name. There was a halo 2 made called Waterworks. It was that big map in a cavern.

    There is no overview for the map. It is completely indoors.
    The shots with the windows are the two bases. The map is pressed up against the mountain with the waterfalls flowing down, which are part of the map.

    I know about the original Waterworks, but this is the first Halo I've played, so this is my CDG version.
    Thanks for the pointers in theater mode, I'll get some new pictures.

    I'll post a video for it once I update it again. I need to adjust the spawn timers on some of the weapons and reduce the clip size of the Fuel Rod to one.

    I've increased the spawn time on many of the weapons in the map. Removed all armor abilities and added a few objects that only appear in Slayer mode. The tunnel brace with a crate sitting in front make a nice shortcut to the second level of the map in the main room. A few additional slayer only crates have been placed around for cover along with a couple that are there in all modes.
    The Fuel gun and the energy sword have been increased to 150 second spawn times and not to appear until the 3rd spawn phase. The sniper rifle, concussion rifle, and the focus rifle have increased to 95 second spawns.
