So, this is a map ive been working on for a couple of weeks. I have not been able to test it much, just a couple games. Please give any feedback. Weapons: 1 Rocket (only 2 bullets, 2 minute respawn) 1 Sword 2 Shotguns 2 Snipers 4 DMR's 4 Needle Rifles 2 Pistols 2 Needlers Thats ALOT of power weapons. Figured id see what you guys thought though. Heres some pics... Credit goes to Toastman for the custom benches idea.

yea man i had the exact same problem where no one would comment on my map either. Anyways, seems like a really cool map, the water bottom makes the map especially cool tho. I'll have to download it and give it a try

Yeah, no one comments on mine either, shame as its the best map in the world, blates yeah had a bit of a play and you've got a really good combo of firing angles and cover. which is the most important thing when it comes to a map i think
Looks... big. And confusing. I'm scared. Pardon my ignorance, but what is that object you use that looks like a circle of grass? I've seen it used in other maps but I have never seen an object that looks like that. Or is it highly strategic use of the natural contours of the map itself? Anyway, looks good, but definitely a map you'd have to play a few times to learn.
Yea its a little confusing, the teleporters mostly i think. The grass is in Gadgets> Toys> Golf Tee just turn it up side down so that the flag goes into the ground. I used five on each side.

This is really neat. Lots of fun angles and cool symetry. I am wondering if most of the action will take place on those two high points where either team can sprint up from intial spawn. But then again your power weapons are placed in ways that lure players deeper into the map. I like that. I'll try to get a game going to see how it fares. -Slamm
The aesthetics of this map are probably its strongest suit. The various rock gardens, benches, and weird floating rock formations add a unique flare to the map, not to mention the natural lighting from an open roof. As for the gameplay, the flow from the top floor to the bottom floor is fantastic mainly thanks to the teleporter system. The gravity lifts are helpful too and overall I think you have a way to get back to the top floor on every side of the lower level square. Overall there are a lot of power weapons on this map considering the size is fairly small. I haven't been able to test it, but this may be detrimental or it could work out amazingly. To me it just seems like if you were play a 4v4 you would be constantly running into someone with a shotgun or rocket launcher. Once again I don't know the effects but maybe changing the spawn times will help with this. Sorry if you already have appropriate spawn times. Hopefully my comments help, and if not hey everybody loves comments on their maps. I know I could use a few more on mine.
Thanks PH03NIX! Also, I agree with you about the weapons. I was thinking of the pit when i placed them, but im not sure about them on this map.
It's reminiscent of the neat features from several Halo maps of previous games. I particularly like the wet lower level. It's kind of like the mist from Chillout.
If you wanna run some customs on this map for testing purposes I'd be down for that. Just send me a PM for a time and i'm sure we could see if the weapons need to be balanced out at all.
well Im only against one set of weapons. the DMR's. Im an assault rifle guy and Im upset that everybody has ditched the old rifle for a single shot one.
Its been that way with the pistol all the way through the battle rifle. Nothing new for players to ditch the AR. In regards to this map its truly a work of art. I just loaded it for a quick run through and will deffinately put it in my customs rotations. If I have any issue (which I dont expect to) I will post them here. Great Forge!
